He was playing out of position this year of course. He's a defensive point guard and supposedly when healthy a top notch one. Look for him to have an impact under Wade.

It's like the guy looked into my mind then my heart and said everything I wanted to hear. His energy his approach as far as offense defense, his attention to detail, importance of special situations. Even his phrasing, "guard every board" knowing without a doubt that if we recruit our state we "will win" not hope not do our best, he all but garunteed it. It's the most impressive presser I've ever heard at this school. How quick do you think he'll turn it around?

He checked every box and I mean every box. My one concern was his recruiting but just by the way he described the players in Louisiana you can tell he knows what we have and has a plan how to use them. And it's the right way, totally different from the way any of our coaches have before. Even if he's not landing the NBA types he's going to use pressure defense, that's never been done here and it's how you win in the south.

He should bring in DeJuan Collins to talk to the team about competing and the importance of not punching one another.

I think so too I think we can be an NIT lock to bubble team. Of course who returns from this roster will play a big part, how they respond to defense will also. What's good is we don't really have upperclassmen and the younger the player the easier it is to break habits and form new ones.
