Will Wade - No "Offer" Possible?

As I understand it, WW would have committed a violation if he made an offer to Smart. However apparently Smart was not aware of an offer. How could an impermissible "offer" be considered to have been made if the purported counterparty is not even aware of said "offer"? I think Alleva and / or King have some explaining to do other than the fact that they got their feelings hurt that WW was boss and called the shots.

Just discussing it is a violation. Wade fricked up and we just have to hope that the damage is at an absolute minimum and he can come back somehow.

Dude just stop, I’m not even going to explain how stupid this sounds

Technically, the offer could have been made to Smart's handler, family, or another 3rd party without his knowledge. Although highly unlikely.

How did these folks prove that Smart did not know?

Yes, that gif is undoubtedly inaccurate.

Discussing an offer for a recruit is a violation?

He likely just denied knowledge and they can't prove otherwise. It's what Cam Newton did and they proved money changed hands there. What did Auburn get ?

Considering we interviewed family plus multiple non family members and still haven’t fired wade for cause means we didn’t find shite but compliance and the administration still has hope to find dirt

Which does nothing to change the situation

According to the statement that LSU released yesterday. I forget the exact phrasing, but discussing any type of payment or extras or some thing of that nature.

But how severe a violation? If an offer was discussed but no offer was made, how bad of a violation is it?

That's gonna be the big question for compliance. I'm only going off of what they released in their statement. To me, unless there's a paper trail it isn't shite but I guess that isn't true.

But, it wouldn’t be a forfeit all games and no show clause kind of violation, surely.

I think if the actual wiretaps are turned over to the NCAA and the Yahoo report is accurate, I could see them vacating any win that Wade was involved in. It's pretty serious stuff.

You just need to avoid these threads for your own good.
Maybe a Special Ed Board is best for you.

Alleva and King need to start packing their office. Pathetically amateur considering the level that they are employed
