Valentine has clearly been in the doghouse for the last couple of games. Has Jenkins' tough love worked? Will we see a motivated TV play a key role on Saturday?

Bench warmer.

I'd like to see him pull his head out of his arse and man the frick up. You can never have too many D-linemen when playing Bama.

ehhh. i believe he will be used in a relief capacity for Gilmore/Alexander/Lawrence rotation. i would think simply from that "fresh legs" aspect he will have to be used if we wanna wear there OL down by 4th quarter.

also depends on whether or not he has changed his attitude at practice or not though. if he doesn't play at all then that tells me all i need to know about TV.

Coach O has put too much emphasis on the whole "one team, one heartbeat" theme since he has taken the reigns for me to believe otherwise. either buy into it or GTFO. no matter who you are. and i love it.

I think if Gilmore et al. play on skates early in the game they will have to at least play Valentine situationally.

He's the only guy that has really shown the ability to fight through double teams and eat up space.

He got into a fight with Boutte at practice today. He's never going to get it. LSU bent over backwards to help him get back into school.

Care to elaborate?

Fights in the practice are not uncommon in football.

One on one drill and TV wouldn't let go of Boutte. TV took off his gloves and had to be restrained. That's it.

Without really knowing the particulars, that just sounds like frustration and emotion. Could actually be a positive that shows he is trying.

Boutte story is facially bogus.
RAnt says TV cannot be stopped by a double team, much less Boutte alone...
Get your facts right!

Valentine will see a few snaps just because we need all hands on deck but he will definitely be third string.

I'm looking for Big Ed to have a breakout game.

I believe I saw it in a drill. Seemed to me like Valentine won the drill and Boutte wouldnt let go.

EDIT: After reading up, it appears to be that Boutte took Valentine down in a 1 vs 1 drill and Valentine had to be separated from offensive players.
