We will lose 3- 4* 5* players as a result of the way we are finishing the year. They will probably
end up at Bama. Don't call BS just wait until signing day.

honestly, we slow up most years after we lose 2-3 games and it hasn' hurt recruiting much at all in years past...

we have stellar facilities, a coaching staff that kids and parents just love, and are a pipeline into the NFL...couple that with the possibility to play early and I am not sure why any kid wouldn't jump at the opportunity....

fact is, any team is gonna have ups and downs during the season and players understand that...we fans struggle with it a bit more...

It didn't in 2008, that's a fact, so I say no. In fact I think it helps because those who TRULY want to be a tiger will want to be a factor in bringing the team back to an elite status.

Yes, most certainly. LSU has no offensive balance or identity this year. Last year was 60/40 run/pass with some tempo. LSU finished 3rd in the West with 2630/3263 run/pass yds even though the total offense ranked only 5th in the West. This year those numbers are 2250/1860 run/pass and the split is more than 70/30 run/pass: 87% run if you take out the incompletions. Even though we are rushing 10 more times per game, 50 vs 40, our running game has been ineffective because of no passing game and rushing TDs are 22 vs 37 last year. Being tied for last in the West is not a real positive recruiting tool but State took mostly 3 stars and they are doing okay. A modern offense would really help. Look what defensive guru Gary Patterson at TCU did in one year when he decided to modernize his offense.
