Yep. The fans can't lose their focus

As to the OP, the crowd should be MUCH better.

1. Expect Tennessee to bring a LOT of people. They are a top 10 team playing in Tiger Stadium for the first time in 12 years. While it may not quite approach the 2018 Georgia game in terms of visiting fan support, you are going to see a lot of orange in the stadium that day.

2. LSU came into the Florida game 3-3 on the heels of two straight losses...the most recent being a blowout in Kentucky. The game was the hated 11:00 am slot and apathy in the program had probably reached a 20 year high. Hell, the only reason I attended was because the weather was beautiful that day (68 degrees at kickoff).

This year hope has returned to the LSU program and they will be welcoming an opponent whose fans are tremendously excited about their team thus far. Last year's Florida game felt like a decent day to get out of the house which turned into a very fun football game. Next week will feel more like a big 2:30 game...only starting 3.5 hours earlier

Arguably the best traveling SEC team from 1996-2002. That was back in their prime, but I’m sure they still travel really well.

If we win tomorrow. It will be better. There is way more excitement about the direction of the program.

Easily better. Tennessee will at least be a top 8 team with an SEC East title shot. 2021 #20 Florida was a game where we had nothing to lose because CEO was already on the way out the door.

I love ruining Florida's season but having the chance to knock off Tennessee will taste soooo much sweeter.

It will be good for 11am but it still won’t be full. That stadium is a shell of what it used to be and it won’t change due to how nice the in home watch experience is now, time for people to just start accepting that

What was the crowd like for UF last year? I was watching bits of that game the other day and the camera mostly panned to the West side lower bowl and the student section...it looked pretty full. Not sure how the uppers were.
Regardless, Tennessee will be top 10 and an LSU team on the upswing, hopefully in the top 25. We were unranked last year and UF was only ranked like 20. I'd be surprised if there isn't 95k+ in the stadium

Best post I’ve seen regarding the game. 1) Acknowledging we will travel well. 2) Acknowledging you all will be into the game. Two things can exist at the same time. ??

Better

And, before the stadium expansion(s), it was smaller (duh) and would get packed & electric. No reason to say the same can't happen with some empty seats in the nose bleed sections.

Bring it Tiger fans!

You say this but I was pleasantly surprised by the crowd and the enthusiasm in the stadium that morning. That game was probably the best 11:00 game (energy level) wise I have ever seen in Tiger Stadium.

Agreed! I will say the FLA. game was AWESOME from a fans perspective. What made it even more memorable was we were planning to sit in our one-time season tickets on 40 yard line but my best friend in HS (BLOOD!!!!) could not make the game. WE (mi amor and I) sat in his life-long seats on 50 yard line!
Gave our tickets to some die hard Tiger fans visiting Tiger stadium for 1st time. We could see them from across the field during the game jumping up and down like we did for most of the game. What an afternoon to be a Tiger fan!
Beautiful sunshine against what I consider our best rival on national TV. Throw in a "W" and it was glorious! Hope we continue the 11 AM trend NEXT week. Meanwhile it's AUBURN WAR EAGLE week..... FOCUS.... LOL
