From the Tulsa World webpage today, FWIW:

"I played from 2001-2005.

I was there during all of Miles' Tenure. I saw and heard a lot, so here is what I have to say.

Grades:

I rarely went to class. That was a mistake on my part. I passed some and failed some. I had passing grades in some classes, but failed them for attendance. I NEVER got any grades changed and even lost an appeal.

I never heard of tutors doing work for kids, I never saw it. What I did see what Kids who really needed help in school, were there, were there a lot, and always working. Could it have happened, easily, but from what I saw it did not. I know 1 player in particular what was there so much, he slept on the couch during breaks. he could not go home because he had so many tutors lined up.

Defo Payment thing:

I started out on defense. I was in the meetings for a year and I never heard anything of the sorts. I had defensive players as roomates and never heard it, not even a rumor.

Paying Recruits a players extras:

I was not a high profile recruit or players. I never got any extras. NEVER. I hung out with some of the high profile players and never saw any extra or heard about extras they were receiving. I did here 1 player say to me that he was getting $m but this kid was a liar, cheat, and a Class A screw up. he was a 4 star recruit though, but I sat in between 2 of the highest profile recruits we had at the time and those questions were asked and they never gave any indications of this being true.

As far as the job goes, I never had a part time job, but I know players who did. They did the work, I just dont know what they were being paid. Could they have got $10 an hour when others would have got $7, sure, but I never heard of tons of money being throw at these kids, because if it was happeneing, I should would have jumped on it.

I did hear that some high profile players getting large amounts of $ for speaking at some FCA events. these were alos OU players and TU players. I heard at 1 even, a OU QB got paid $1,500 for speaking for 30 minutes and the OSU and TU player got $250. I know this because the OSU player was a friend of mine.

The coaches said you can only make up to the NCAA limit, which during my tenure, was $2,000 a year i think.

Orange Pride and Prostitues:

Here is where I can shed the most light on. I had 8 recruits that I hosted, Chris Hall being the "highest ranked." We were given $ by the coahces for cost. This was a standard. It was per the NCAA because i remember my hosts getting this per diem for me when I was being recruited. We bought beer, we went to the strip club and we threw parties.

Orange Pride girls rarely came to our parties, were rarely with the recruits when we had them and we had them most of the time outside of tours (which the Prode girls were apart of, but the recruits family and coached were weith them the whole time). Never heard of Orange Pride girls getting with recruits.

We did not have to hire prostitues, we never had to pay girl for sleeping with recruits. 1 out of the 8 I hosted got lucky. It happens. It is College for crying out loud and happens on EVERY campus. Some girl are easy. Some high school kids will get with any girl no matter how ugly or how big they are (most men will too....lol)

This is from my standpoint. I dont know what else to say, I think the article is bogus and I think some disgruntles players who were kicked off, or made to look bad are trying to stir stuff up...Just like Kejuan Jones from OU did..."

I think if any proof is submitted regarding these allegations, Les Miles' reputation will be effectively used against him in recruiting & his overall credibilty and legacy will be tarnished. To say this will not adversely affect LSU is being naive. The question is why now? Why wasn't this reported immediately by the so called players who were adversely affected. Also, why single out one university? Are there not others that could fit in this category? Once the seed is planted, the doubt will never be erased. I really hope for the best for Les Miles, but once again, another distraction the program will have to overcome. Thanks SI.

That whole posting is full of truth. He explained it perfectly without sugar coating things.

I hope they interview that player on tv

No one seemed to give a damn about Saban and those dead tranny hookers, so why should this be an issue?

Over/Under on recruits this will cost LSU: 0.5

Over/Under on new ESPN spots Miles does after SI series: 7.5

This whole "story" is a giant he said/he said attention grabber. And it didn't come out in March rather than September for a reason. And it is a series of articles...like a TNT "We Know Drama" series. Yawn.

Then if this is false information printed as proven facts, I can't think of a better scenario for a slander suit against SI. If there are any attorneys or law students out there, help me out. This has to be textbook slander.

No, not necessarily false information...but it sounds like good old fashioned hearsay.

"That coach told girls to sleep with recruits."

"That coach gave me money 8 years ago."

How would those two quotes in and of themselves hold up in court?

that link is garbage and how is CLM going to get in trouble for something that happened over 7 years ago?

SI needs to get a life.

Don't believe me? Watch Grundy get a free pass while miles gets railroaded. I find it absolutley absurd that Bama can hire away girlfriends and hire handlers for recruits among other things and you never hear a peep.

An SI article bashing Miles/LSU. Go figure.
Bama straight up murders "fell down stairs" a rat booster and not a peep from SI.
