I would think pretty good. Neither is projected to even sniff the first round.

Mickey projected #27 overall

Martin #20 overall; Mickey #27 overall

IMHO Neither possess what the nba covets at this time. Can't create shots, can't finish strong, can't handle ball well enough to play 3, can't defend down low or on perimeter. Hopefully they get honest encouragement from their families ...

Can someone explain the trade the Pelicans made with Houston? Was that for Asik? WTF? The Pelicans have no draft selections in the first 2 rounds?

so being a second round pick makes one a guarantee to leave? step away from the keyboard. you're guessing and have zero insight into what either guy is thinking.

talking in definites makes you look ignorant. You have no idea the thought process these guys are using. Maybe they enjoy school. Maybe they want to stick around the program another year. But being a lock second rounder doesn't make ANYONE a definite. You're acting like it's the NFL draft. 2nd round picks aren't even guaranteed contracts in the NBA.

Just state that it's your opinion and you have no knowledge to base it on and you won't like moronic.

If you would have "read" my previous opinionated posts. They are just that. Take the purple and gold glasses off, it makes you seem like a moron. In my opinion they are as good as gone

Going into the year, it was an assumption that both are leaving. Both guys have played very well and are having great years. There's little reason to believe they're coming back.

Word is... from NBA guys... Mickey is gone. Jarell is still up in the air. Both would get drafted but likely not in the 1st. That was pre UK fwiw.

sort of what I've heard. A lot of people thought O'Bryant was gone after his sophomore year too...

I'm not trying to be a boner about this but there's been nothing to suggest that either guy has one foot out of the door. On the contrary, didn't CJJ state that he wouldn't be shocked to see both guys stay?

Martin and Mickey just went toe to toe with the deepest and best team in all of college basketball. Neither come from wealthy backgrounds. second round money isn't chump change. I hope my opinion is wrong. I want them back as much as anyone, however I just don't see it happening.

The coaching staff and every media person who actually pays attention to the team.

wrong.

And assumptions are just that--assumptions. No one knows what either guy is thinking. Saying they're both definitely gone is jumping the gun.

Think Martin as more to gain by staying. Mickey has proved what he can do, but i hope he returns.

If so i will dress up in a neon leotard and sing "fifty ways to leave your lover" while regis koundjia and magnum rolle hoist teh american flag atop tiger stadium as john brady and pokey chatman drive down acadian in terrell claytons p&g tiger striped corvette.

I see mickey leaving. Cant see him making it in the nba, but maybe europe. E really cant do much to improve his stock, he is what he is. He isnt going to keep growing.

Martin has a chance to make it in te league IMO. He is a local kid. Seen interviews before where he talked about leaving after this year, but maybe he changes his mind.
I doubt we get either back, but maybe martin.

Hoping johnny can do a masterful job recruiting them back. If Europe or D League is Mickey's peak, why not stay in college a little bit. The degree would outweigh whatever he'd make for the Maine Red Claws
