I would root for Baylor over Alabama, but I'd root for Alabama over any of the other schools in the picture.

Absolutely not, if they are playing FSU. The list of teams I would "root" for Alabama if they were playing against them is short, and they are:

Notre Dame
Ohio State

And that's just because I despise those teams more than Alabama.

Eff this "SEC fan" mentality. I couldn't care less about that.

A couple of years ago the answer was Yes. The inclination to root for them (as part of the SEC)has gotten less each year. It will be a cold day in hell before I ever do so again in any way.

I hope another school beats them to end the SEC BCS stranglehold.
