I've been a Tiger fan since I can first remember back in 1970. I'm old school and a traditionalist.
But even I think the "traditional" uniform is a bit stale, and I like seeing the other variations. Keeps things interesting.
And no, I'm not suggesting we "go Oregon" with the unis. Oregon looks downright silly. But going with the white/purple/white or all whites is a damn good look. I'd also like to see purple pants (hell, we wear them exclusively in spring practice, let's break them out for a game). And please don't give me some superstition about how we lost in purple patents 20 years ago.
ETA: oh, and I love old gold, too, like the ones we wore against Arky awhile back.

Maybe you didn't read what I wrote, or ignored it...but his point at the time was LSU was wearing only one uniform...gold/white/gold, both home and away. He was being told by recruits at the time that they would like to wear more than one uniform during their careers.
So he brought back the gold/purple/gold look, and we've kept that pattern until this day.
Secondly...BAMA does NOT wear only one uniform every game the way LSU did when Saban got here. They wear their red/red/whites at home and red/white/whites away. Two uniforms...not one, like LSU did. They already have the variation he helped bring back to LSU...

I hope not...LSU's gold/white/gold is one of the best looking uniforms in college football. I wish they'd just wear that combo for every game.

A game of inches played at breakneck speed...throw in some weekly color changes and you have a perfect setup for quarterback hesitation...do we really need help in that regard.

Like that combo too but that is a road combo. However, I believe we wore a similar combo against Ark when PP7 was here...

I wouldn't be surprised if Orgeron let's the team vote on it from week to week. I think it should be the team's choice. They are the ones wearing them.
