He plays for Les "running back by committee" Miles. You are delusional.

Hell, Jeremy Hill got 1400 while playing with a drop back passer and 2 1000 yard receivers.
With fresh blood at QB and WR, LSU is liable to run even more than usual, and tVette will surely get his share, I project around 225 carries, or 15-20 a game. Is that unrealistic to you?

So teams will load the box even more vs LSU in 2014?
Is that even possible...

If Adrian Peterson didn't win it after the season he had in 2004, no Freshmen RB ever will.
He had 2,000 yards rushing and 15 TDs so that is the bar, that's pretty high

He was right behind Matt Leinart in voting in one of the most competitive Heisman races ever.
Reggie Bush
Jason white
Alex Smith
That was also before the media hype up freshman winning it and we had all these running QB's. I guess it all matters what media favorite mobile QB does compare to a freshman RB and how much publicity the RB can get.

Things were different back then. It was just two years ago when a freshman ever won it at all. That barrier has been busted down, so not really an obstacle should tVette have the kind of season many of us think he will.

So you will be part of the "sky is falling" crowd when he doesn't score 8 touchdowns in the first game right?

Isn't Wisky our first game? He won't score more than 2 or 3 against those guys.

If nothing else, this thread has increased my knowledge of slang and its usage in society.
For that, thanks to all of you.

why the 't' in the nickname you came up with? why not just 'vette'. If you insist on keeping the 't' how about just stretch out 'tvette' into 'the veteran'? Like he is a battle tested veteran or something. Or maybe 'the veternarian', like he is tough on the field and operates on animals (the opponents). Or maybe 'the vegitarian', one who appears very peacefull but plays like a steak eater. All those can be shortened to 'tveteran', for example, if you prefer to change the word 'the' into the letter 't'. 'Tiger4178', I'm going to keep in touch with you and we will keep working on the nickname thing. I think we are off to a good start with many good possibilities.

tOSU is where the 't' comes from. Started out using it to mock them but found it to have some practical use in these type forums.
Leonard 'vette' Fournette has no flow, while Leonard 'the Vette' Fournette most certainly does, thus the t.
I'm open to other possibilities but think this will eventually take off. Thinking about maybe getting a copyright on it even. Too soon?

I look at that as more pro-Buga than downvotes.
But Leonard 'Buga' Fournette just sounds ridiculous. No flow whatsoever there.
It'll all work itself out.

Id go ahead and get the copyright. No sense in waiting.
