Ummm because if your qb is not getting first downs or moving the ball and knows he is not coming out of the game do you not think it might impact your chances of winning on Jan 9th????? Or do you prefer the defense and special teams having to attempt to win the NC without any help from the starting qb??????? Do you not think a qb who actually contributes would be a benefit?????
Again I ask you if JJ shits the bed do you think there is any chance of him coming out? If not how does it benefit the team? If any other player was continually getting beat they get taken out?

Our gameplan will not rely on qb play. I am pretty much sure of that. We will attempt to win the game like we have every game this season, with elite defense, elite special teams and an elite running game. Controlling the clock, wearing out the d and field position.
Qb play will not be what makes or breaks us.

You have no clue. You only read random threads and get pissed, and go off on this horrible fan base. I defended JJ with a passion at the beginning of the year, but that holds no interest for you. You need to whine, and bitch.
it's an awesome fanbase. It's no different than any in the nation. Full of energy and is heavily invested in this football program year around. You are privy to a forum that allows dissent, which many do not and since you are a horribly negative individual who focuses on the negative, you believe everyone is like that. It isn't so.

If so please link me to where Tebow had numberous sub 100 yard total offense games in his last 2 seasons of college football and please link me o where he compiled 4 yards of total offense in a game or led his team to 0 first downs in an entire half!

why does our fan base continueally underestimate our QB's. Both QB's have played well this season and credit should be given to them for coming through for us. I don't know why our fanbase feels the need to constantly discredit them.

Being realistic isn't discrediting anyone. I think any sane person hopes LSU can win without having to resort to a passing game in the NCG. The strength of the team is defense and special teams. If it happens it happens but I certainly wouldn't put money on it.
Both QB's have strengths, but I don't want to see LSU having to pass in the 4th qtr to win this game.

it benefits the team because he hasn't'shite the bed' as you like to say and because he gives us our best chance to win, especially against a team like Alabama who play an aggressive defense.

Why are you so hell bent on JJ getting pulled? You act like it is guaranteed that he will play like he did in the sec championship. I hope not because that would mean the o line and running game would be also as poor as it was in the first half of the game.

both have at some point in their careers. JJ should have thrown three INTs vs UGA, all were dropped... Lee threw two vs Bama.
I don't have faith in either to carry a team when it matters. Just manage the game and play within their abilities.

we are going to need somewhat of a passing game just to keep them honest. It would be nice to think we could just overpower them running the ball but I don't see that happening with out a threat down the field. We are going to have to take some shots early and often.

I can see that I come across the way you think I do. But I also think that you see that side of me in these repetitive qb threads. I enjoy talking lsu football but these qb threads have brought out a negative side.
