You're assuming he is going to pass the ball, which he won't (not this week anyway), if he plays, which he most certainly will. THINK READ-OPTION, PEOPLE!

thus the point of the thread. Only 4 plays and no throws

I was being sarcastic. There was an entire thread devoted to how great he looked saturday and how much his speed had improved.

that's a problem though, if he is not a threat to throw, then a defense like bama is going shut him down. Better get him into the passing game now.

that thread was about how improved he looked running the ball. I'm talking about getting him into the passing game.

You need an anchor. The team needs unity in this situation, which they seem to have. If Lee and Miles a long with the rest of the team see Jefferson as a valued teammate, then so should the fans.

He's our rushing, read-option guy. If he throws it probably won't be until Bama. Assuming Bama is able to key on and stop him, as well as the multiple other options he will have to toss, pitch, or hand it to, we'll have to stick with JLee for our passing. Go with what works at the time. Preeeeeetty simple stuff.

Probably will get trashed for this, but Jefferson going into the game probably helps UF more than LSU. I mean, how good can JJ really on Saturday, when the only game action he has this season so far is against UK (and a terrible UK team at that).

I think Miles' screws yall a little if he fricks with the QB situation.

Uh oh. 100 pages

Nah. National sports announcers and other team's fans can make those statements, only LSU fans aren't allowed to.

I think that would be a big mistake. If he isn't involved with the passing game before Bama then I wouldn't involve him in the passing game. That's not the time to start something new or something you don't have the timing down on.

JJ will play whether ready or not. I assume his involvement will be limited, but who knows.

He was the man all spring, and for the past two years. I understand that he needs a little time to knock the rust off. But make no mistake, if he ain't got it by now, he aint gonna get it.

I'm more concerned about the effect it will have on timing with receivers. JJ passes vs JL getting snaps with the 1s. In practice may have something to do with the drops last weekend

Saw what a tired sorry sad azz team like Kentucky. Give me a break.

We had freshman RBs carrying the ball too doing the same.

He'll probably start, join the golden girls for the half time show, serve up some tiger dogs in one of the concession stands in the north stadium, parade Mike around the field once, feed Les a box full of 'grass', and still manage to show up and do his level best to help us lose in the fourth quarter by going 3/27 and -22 yards while blaming his "good" performance on the janitor.

He better hope so. If Jefferson causes a negative play, like a fumble, I can't imagine the boos that will come behind it.

Without a doubt JL was out of sync last week. Hopefully it will be just that game and not a 7 game stretch of horridness like JJ put up last year.

Conversely if Lee did by some strange reason replicate JJs 2010 performance for 2 or 3 straight games I would hope Miles would pull him as the starter not leave him in like he did with JJ.

Of course I would hope he would go to Mett if that happend but we know his love for JJ is some strong!!!!!!
