Yep.

Chavis had a bad year in 2013, and we didn't see enough improvement to our liking in 2014 so we dumped his arse.

Cam will feel the same heat.

#1,tosu did not destroy bama, we played them just as well with Jennings. #2 tosu did not win that ball game passing the ball, hell their best pass of the night was by a receiver. #3 they ran the ball down bama's throat due to the fact that Collins and all of bamas lb's were out. #4 our QBs will get better and we'll be hell on wheels when they do. Geaux Tigers and a Belated Happy New Year to all you Tiger fans!

The jet sweep and getting the tight end involved, I thought Jennings made a few of his best passes of the year in the bowl game. Hit his second receiver a couple of times and I think he actually hit his third receiver on one play. Now will our coaches and fans instill confidence or will one of these young guns just decide to man up and take control? I'm hoping for the best because I think our team can be very special next year. *O-lineman needed!

finally an intelligent comment

Getting rational discussion even with shiny bait. Don't get overconfident though.

It takes timd to transition from high school to college and college to pro. Both QB didnt know the offensive scheme or how to read defenses. As they mature and learn they will get better.

My god, what a lame excuse. AJ has been in Cam's system for two years. That's plenty of time for him to "transition".

Please stop with this nonsensical "youth" excuse.

Look at Ohio State they just destroyed Bama with A 3rd string QB there other 2 QBs were Heisman contenders and we can't find a QB that can complete a pass , Texas A&M has 2 QBs that are very good and when you look at our recruits you don't see any

Yeah, well, Urban Meyer wanted Brandon Harris, so that tells me all I need to know about Harris' talent level. We have a very talented QB, but do we have anyone to develop him or a decent passing offense for whoever is QBing our team. These guys were highly rated recruits.

Interesting question. If he is do you know anyone willing to take him off our hands and over pay him so we can hire someone better?

I like the jet sweep and any read option stuff that is thrown in because I think it suits our QBs' talents, but the only nice passes I saw were to the TE. It was nice to see use the TE. However, we only had 7 completions on the day and 4 of them were to the TE. In the 13th game of the season, it's a little scary when Duaral, Dupre and Quinn have zero receptions against a bad D.

Ohio St. didn't destroy Bama and was down 15 in the 1st half, however, they got back in the game mostly by passing. The majority of their scoring drives in the first half were the result of successful passes. Their QB threw for 243 yards against Bama. That's more than three times the amount we passed for in four quarters and an OT period at home. They ran all over them too. You know why all of Bama LBs and Collins were eventually knocked out of the game? Because Ohio State took it to them hurt their azzes. They ran on them before and after those guys went out. Their RB had a 54-yard run on their first scoring drive where he hurdled Collins. They were the better team last night. I have to give them some credit. Happy New Year.

My Mom can play quarter back as good at the two guys we have at QB...and nobody is letting her throw a pass. Cam has what he has due to the QB recruiting. See this link posted in another thread... LINK

Not a measure of success. More of an indication that you guys should worry more about your own problems than everyone else's.

This loss to ND wasn't on the offense, it's all on the defense.

Don't give Peveto a free ride here. He has taken a highly effective kicking unit and turned it into crap this season. Bumbling kickoffs, highly accurate FG/PAT rendered inoperable and replacement wasn't much better. The poor kicking game was huge in a few losses this season.

Well, if all of what you said is correct, and I am not disagreeing with you, why in the freakin world would you just recruit QBs that run out of a spread their whole career? Just doesn't make sense that you recruit personnel to match your system, not change your system to the recruits...Is CLM that freakin confused, or is it me...

They recruit spread QBs because that's what is out there right now. You just don't have a lot of classic dropback systems in high school anymore, and of those that are, most don't have D-1 QBs. Certainly not in LSU's primary recruiting area. That means if you want a top dropback passer, you're going into some other big program's turf to get him, and that doesn't happen a lot.

The Texas guys aren't dropback QBs either, they are usu shotgun guys coming from a 7-on-7 type of system.
