If you looked at the context of the OP you would see that it's for a very different reason than the usual Etling sucks, give the young gun a chance to take over the starting reps questions that are asked weekly.

That doesn't change the answer. It's the same, week in and week out. The only difference now is that we have a coach who will actually take a chance on a young QB, whereas the other one would not.

I think the "game conditions" have something to do with that and what's demonstrated at practice as well.

The context should change whether you get pissy at the OP or not.

I agree with you here. CEO is building for the future while trying to win now. I think that it bit us on the arse against Troy with Brennan throwing the pic before having the game in hand. I hope that his experience will pay dividends next year though when Brennan is getting the Lions share of snaps.

The only reason to use McMillan is if you're setting up a pass play down the road. Otherwise just use Guice.

Mcmillan wildcat is a set up. He will pass against Bama.

LSU coaches have to have a backup plan for the next time the offense stalls - and that is not Brennan. The wildcat is our plan C.

I was about to post this. run McMillan in the wildcat a few time, then pass it in 2 weeks.

He'll be the one taking the 5 minute mercy kneel at the 5 yard line

I don't get it. Everytime Brennan has got in a game he moved the ball and gave a boost to the offense. Against Troy we were scoreless until he took over in the third quarter and moved the ball into scoring position everytime he was in. Hell, he drive the team to score the first td in the game and was driving again when he threw the INT. Ints are part of the game so leave him in to overcome a mistake and keep moving the ball. The wildcat did not work so good last week. Given the chance to really play Brennan will make believers of us all..

How fast we forget! I just hope we leave Oxfort (oops spelling) with a win. I'm looking for 3 in a rowTigers 28 Rebs 27. No Brennan.

If we need him to, I'd imagine so.
