Agreed. I don't really think anything Blackwell said was intended to be offensive.

Miles lies about player game availability, player utilization, and who knows what else he is lying about. CLMs poor management is finally hurting recruiting and player attitude. Unless CLM get control and comes clean he may be on a slippy slop downward.

While I agree with you about the OP, you seem to have the want to be a knight in shining armor all the time. Where the usuall suspects show their face you're quick to follow.

perfect position but they just got stomped. I hate to say this but nobody was beating bama with the motivation they had burning in their belly and the gift of redemption ringing in their ears. sure we could have done things differently but that doesn't guarantee that the results would have been any different and they quite possibly could have been much worse.
BS. LSU had not just one but two other QBs rotting on the bench. *CLM chose to play only JJ, who was not effective at all. We will never know what impact either JL or Mett might have hád on the game, on the offense, on Bama's defense. Bad coaching against a well prepared Bama team is a recipe for defeat every time. What happened to LSU that night was more than just a good Bama effort. We overcame that once before, in November.

After reading the article, it doesn't come across as someone calling out Miles.

Isolated like that, it does.

Just a guess, but Will Blackwell has done more for LSU atheletics than you and most if not all on this board. Will is entitled to question what happened and wonder why Miles has not responded to his calls. Don't give me the recruiting line, CLM could take a minute while traveling to return calls if he wanted.

Never had anything against Blackwell but he sounds like a whiney little kid with this statement.

All of these players coming forward just makes me believe even more that something went down before the BCSNCG ... I pray it comes out one day and the fans know the truth... it's obvious les will never have the balls for come forward and talk.

not surprising, but prepare for some serious blackwell bashing

Yeah. LSU fans should applaud Blackwell for speaking out against the program weeks after the National Championship.

That's an interesting take on things.

It was a tough first 13 games of the season for Books. Cut him some slack.

I like Blackwell and have a lot of respect for the way he handled his injury last year. That being said---he played like crap in the BCSNC game. Les clearly had a bad day as a coach , but Blackwell and Hurst had the worst games of their careers. Gentry owned his arse all game long. If he wants to be drafted, he better not line up against Gentry during any drills. Honestly , it sounds like seniorititus. He was a big dick his last year and now it's over. It is what it is. He can't be a senior on a 13-0 team the rest of his life. The program moves on.

Love how Les found time to meet with each returning player, flew to RR's house, flew to RS's house, yet Lee and Blackwell both say that they haven't heard from Miles in 16 days. Because he's too busy recruiting.

Especially with 1/4 of those days being dead time. Miles is doing more damage to recruiting by letting feelings from Hebert, DP, Lee and Blackwell fester and get aired.

From watching games multiple times, position by position, this comment from Blackwell doesn't surprise me much. He was always a hair from personal foul calls that were completely unnecessary, so taking a cheap shot off the field is really not out of character.
