Why wouldn't Jimbo just leverage for more money?

Or maybe he might just want to come coach at LSU?

That could obviously be exactly what he's doing. Happens all the time.

Hope he or Herman are LSUs next coach but your scenario is commonplace.

He's been there 10 yrs or close to it.....

FSU and Jimbo are ready for new blood

He realizes he's got a better shot at being in the College Playoff scenario,
as a 1 loss SEC W team than a 1 loss ACC team.....

Contracts can be renegotiated. Ask Les.

He might be. There's still time for us to take a big hard dry one.

Here's a thought: Maybe he wants to coach at LSU.

To make a huge career move for this? Makes no sense. FSU to LSU is a lateral move at best. Perhaps even a step down right now.

Fsu already paid their dues with the tail end of the Bowden era. They're not going to let Jimbo go easily.

Because he wants to compete against the best on the big stage, the SEC.

Dude won a national title at FSU and was in the hunt again. He's already on the big stage. Bigger than LSU's stage. Makes no sense.

too many relationships are at stake for him to just say "im going to coach LSU because I want too". That won't sit well and will make him look like a punk.

Now if he takes a raise, at least he has a justified excuse. But you better believe FSU will try and match.
