There is a serious issue here. 4 of our last 5 loses in a last minute drive given up by the defense. Surely they see that the plan in this particular situation does not work and needs to be addressed.

i dont understand this argument. Would it be better if we were blown out? I was thinking that because we were in the games it looked a little better. Would i like to see the end situation turn out differnet? of course, but ask clemson this week, if they would have rather lost on a last second drive? I would bet they will say so...

but saban and bama would never lose a game or have a team uprepared to play

ULM would say otherwise.

He is just saying that we need to reevaluate our two minute defense. Was it really that hard to get?

Ancient history...rebuilding that year...and Bama plain sucked!!!
Don't think Saban would lose to another team of that caliber nowadays!

Wow. An lsu "fan" that is a saban apologist. What a joke. Bash your own team but dick ride another school.

You are an embarrassment.

This is absolutely true. The wailing and gnashing of teeth does provide a lot of amusement.

Hell it sucked after the Florida win.

Everyone bitching about the attendance.

I miss those days

Your not as good as your last win or as bad as your last loss is my opinion

Hey, it's called "The Rant" for a reason! We all come onto this board to "rant" about our beloved Tiger sports, in this case now, football. We all have our own thoughts and ideas about the team, so this is the forum to air it out. I don't agree with most posters, but I still enjoy hearing what others are thinking. Yes, sometimes it sucks, but it is what it is - The Rant and I like it!!

Maybe....I was at that game and if Booty doesn't check off that last play (several people said that was a designed throw...i don't believe it) and throw the pick...it's a moot point.
My point was that both LSU (UAB) and Bama (ULM) were both rebuilding. The closest we've come since that debacle was Troy and that game featured everything that could possibly go wrong for the tigers.

So it was the player's fault when Saban was coach, but Les doesn't get that same leeway?

I would simply submit that Les has had PLENTY of leeway already...how much is enough?

GET THE SAME DESIRE FOR CHAMPIONSHIPS AS THE FANS!!!!!!!

We aren't going to see that kind of driven determination to win the "Superbowl" from this LSU football program. Period.

NONE of the LSU football "powers-that-be" have ever articulated that as a mission statement for LSU football.
