Its February. Who says they will not?

Its BYU.. Its also the first game of the season. I see it every year. There is always a team who loses or almost loses a game against a sub par team just because its the first game of the season, they don't have all the pieces in order, etc.

This is just me, but if there is a game you don't want to underestimate.. Its the first game of the season.

Can't believe I'm saying this but I think it's a good idea . I'm thinking more Etling/Scott combo .

I don't think either of the freshman should play this season unless it's absolutely necessary. Brennan needs to put on 20-30 lbs and Narcisse would probably benefit from an entire year of strengthening/rehabbing his knee(s).

BYU won't be a piss take. If LSU are messing about they'll be beat. BYU can score

I trust coach o will actually play the best player. Les miles didn't.

Miles pulled Jefferson for Lee in 2010 when we needed to make throws.

Benched Jennings for Harris and then benched Harris for Etling.

Yes.

Let the top three have snaps.
Win.

Wildcat for scott from time to time from q2 on.

Freshman gets a drive in late 4th if 2 td lead or better.

I don't think it's called wildcat if he plays QB. It's wildcat if someone who plays another position takes snaps. Other wise it's just a zone read "package". But I do agree that it could be a good mix

But we are going to have to get someone else reps too. The early part of the season is that time.

BO, NO, and NO. The early part if the season is when your starters get in the same page with each other and adjust to the different schemes thrown at them. A good qb coach understands this and gives no one snaps until he is thoroughly convinced the starter.
If the starter isn't solidified, is the only time you split reps.
Back up qb's get reps in garbage time. You only give the backup reps...
If a backup wants reps, beat out the others to be backup

I don't completely disagree with you. Coaches have a little bit more responsibility than that. They have the tough job of winning right now, and building a confident roster for tomorrow. Simply saying that garbage time that you speak of, typically comes at the easiest part of the schedule. I'm not saying that BYU necessarily qualifies. But traditionally the easier part of the schedule is in the beginning. I'm also for eliminating the possibility that you're left with a roster next year with quarterbacks that have not taken media for snaps.
