Why LSU will never be a basketball school

The fanbase only cares abt football and baseball. They will come sell it out one time a year against a big opponent and if we lose their gone. The dude dressed up in a gah damne general suit just to
try and get fans in the stands. I mean how much does LSU have to win for the fan base to buy in?

2. LSU officials

LSU basketball is at least 3rd in priorities in terms of sports. Pmac is outdated, our facilities suck arse!! Look at the rest of the sec and what there doing (auburn, Alabama, Arkansas) all new facilities.. when you INVEST into winning your gonna win. Nope we would rather add 5 mill to our football program whose barely made it to 6 wins the past two years. LSU basketball is on the back burner and it’s obvious. I mean rightfully so since our fanbase isn’t as bought in and it’s all about the money.

Which brings me to my point on some of you clowns saying we can do better than wade?? Can we really tho, after what I just stated above? Believe Wade wanted out anyway, was tired of the lack of support from our officials and the fanbase. Imagine going to the tourney for 3 years in a row, winning an sec title, finishing top half in conference every year and then going to practice in your shite arse facility and you look across the street at a mult million dollar facility. Would that piss u off??

Now Can someone come into this basketball program and consistently make the tourney and recruit top talent like wade did? Past history deff screaming NO!! Wade made the tourney 4 years in a row, sweet 16 his second year after inheriting a team who went 2-16 in conference (worst LSU conference record ever) finished top 4 in conference the last 3 years (only team to do so in the sec those 3 years) Won an sec championship! John brady only made the tourney 4 times in 11 years. I would say improvement right?? He brought a CONSISTENT winner which we haven’t had since dale brown. It’s baffling to me that all you fans think LSU basketball is juggernaut and that we’ve been underachieving lol. shite we’ve been underachieving since Daddy dale l, he couldn’t win with nba rosters lol

He cheated and there’s no denying it, but he did some special things in those 5 years with a handicapped program and weak support system. Get ur fingers crossed because I just don’t see how Scott is gonna find better. Back to tuba player days we go

Also piss poor decision by Scott to fire wade a week before the tourney. Basically threw in the towel and told our kids to kick rocks. All for what?! To save a few dollars (for football) and save some scholarships for our shitty team we’re abt to have in the next few years lol. That was wrong
