I usually only go to one or two games a year. I stay until the end.

The exception is if we're getting blown out, I've left with five minutes or so remaining after it was clear that we had no chance to win (Ole Miss game 7 or 8 years ago).

Aside from that game I've stayed until the end.

It's the traffic... in 2000 i could leave a game at the end and get to metairie in less than 2 hours.

2008 i could leave a game at the end and get to my house in BR in right at 2 hours

now stay till end it takes nearly 3 hours

it's the traffic...

Just wait until there is a CBS game. They usually take an hour longer.

It's really no mystery. The games are too long, TV has KILLED the experience. Plus nobody cares enough about Southern Miss etc to sit there for 4.5 hours only to then sit in two hours of traffic. When the big games roll in the stadium will stay packed and be loud that's all there is to it.

There's nothing else to be done and there's no use worrying yourself with what other people are doing just enjoy yourself and the game.

but in reality the games are taking too damn long.

Agreed. the TV timeouts between change of possession are taking way too long. The TN v. TAMU game 2 weeks ago took nearly 5 hours and that was with only 2 very short OT's.
Regulation almost went 4.5 hours( or at least felt that way.) Game was not over until almost 730
