Why doesn't LSU charge a fee and put a projector on the field for away games?

Charge a small admission price, sell concessions, etc. have all the comradery of all the fans sitting together to watch the game. I know I'd go for a game or two a season. At least BAMA

Would there be enough of a crowd to make it worth it?

I know you said you'd go, but I'm unsure many would go to this.

I do like the idea and concept though.

Probably wouldn't be cost effective on the field, but in the Maravich center, like some schools do during big away games, would be perfect.

Probably too expensive to justify the price. They would need security, people to work concessions, people to clean up, sell tickets, etc. They wouldn't be able to charge much for the admission I would assume

Probably because all "big" road games are nationally televised and most, like me, have HDTVs and are more comfortable at home in the recliner with the bathroom ten feet away.

Oh. And it's spelled "camaraderie."

I'd rather sit in my living room with my 144" screen...

Was wondering why my phone wouldn't allow that spelling. Thanks

Yeah but think how many people are on campus anyway. Camaraderie, man

This is why they have sports bars. You might want to try one.

Right. Or if you want some company just have a cook out at the house or something.

Way back in 1970 Lsu did that vs Notre Dame. Witnessed the 3-0 loss on campus at LSU. Don't remember where though. Way cool (except we loss). Casanova dropped interception in endzone the play before ND kicked winning fg.

Sitting outside in August in south Louisiana to watch a game on TV isn't many people's idea of a good time.

But if you don't have any friends you can't have a cookout in your basement.

Going to an "event" like that may be the only way to experience camaraderie. Camaraderie, camaraderie, camaraderie.

Is the band no longer traveling for away games? Just having a small contingent of TGBFTL would make this idea 10x better. Do it at the Pmac and allow people to come and go to get drinks and food.
