Why does everyone assume Brennan is next in line?

I think that Narcisse is the better prospect. He's bigger, stronger, and more mobile. Is it just due to his injuries, and the poor history with dual-threat QBs at LSU?

Where do you people get this stuff? They haven't even touched a CFB field yet.

I got it from this board, actually. Quite a few Brennan threads, saying how people are confident he'll do well based on how Etling has done, as if it's an afterthought.

They're both awesome. Narcissi is hurt so people are watching Brennan.

Please don't stir the pot on this. We really want both here.

Primarily yes. The type of QB that Brennan seems to be fits what has typically worked with Miles/Cam. However, Narcisse might end up being better (especially if we run a different offense like the one Herman runs).

I would rather just pull for both guys and hope they both can be successful.

Let's get past NSD. It will be a discussion based upon rank speculation anyway.

Many think Brennan has more upside and that the new head coach OB able to develop that upside. Plus the fact that we have been unable to develop the read option quarterback at all. New head coach, new offense of coordinator/quarterbacks coach plus Brennan equals good things

Hey, don't shoot the messenger. I'm not trying to stir anything, I was just wondering. If anything, I'd think that Narcisse would be the one with the higher ceiling/more upside

In today's day and age, ACL injuries don't mean much. He tore one last year, and came back better than ever.

Well considering we don't know how narcisse's injuries will heal (best of luck to the young man), and after etling we only have BH and Scott, so it's not a reach to think that he can come in and compete for a job immediately

IDGAF who's under (or behind) center, I just want LSU to win and these kids to stay healthy

This, the dude is a beast

I can't imagine what it's like to go through this as a 17 or 18 year old kid... I'd be devastated
