I respect the players and university. Don't care for their coach and calls he gets because of who he is. Don't kid yourself the referees are biased towards him no doubt about it.

I don't hate them...I just knew Saban would own the sec once he was hired. I also felt he'd stay for the long haul at bama unlike all the pukes here on the rant who said he'd bounce after 3-5 years because he would get bored

The fans, their ignorance and arrogance. Mark my words: in a few years, when Saban retires and the wheels fall off, Auburn/Florida State/Ole Miss will have a massive resurgence of fans.

Yep, a lot of bandwagon fans.

I don't know how I've never heard that rant. It's absolutely perfect.

I never experienced an LSU win while attending school until my Senior year. Buck Fama.

Because I grew up in the 70's. Alabama was always LSU's roadblock. Then we pulled even, then we owned them, and then the guy that put us on the map went there. That I cannot abide. I hate them and I hate him (or at least the football him). I have more respect for the man heading our program right now, but unfortunately the other guy's football self has more on field success. I hate that program. I wish it the worst. I never, ever root for them unless it directly assists LSU, and only then begrudgingly.

He nails it here.

LINK

They are the biggest fricking cheating bastards on the planet. And Ole Miss is about to go down foe paying players when Yahoo sports printed fricking checks, the stupid arrogant mfers paid players with checks, and what happened to them. Not a GD thing.

Did you know that Bama used to have an extra SEC game during the bryant years and it was always Vandy, so they started with an extra win every year. Before there was Texas there was Bama pulling all the shite. It was so bad Florida openly talked about leaving SEC in the 80's. They pay players, refs, steal signals, bug phones, they do it all. They make the Patriots look like fricking choirboys. The rules were made because of them and yet they are somehow above the rules. And then they just make shite up if they can get it by lying, cheating, and stealing. (The bullshite national championships) and like a bodybuilder with a 3 inch dick they are so insecure that they have to destroy any the semblance of a threat. (Killing UAB's sports program)

What is there not to fricking hate?

I've hated Bama forever. I hated them before Saban was the D Coordinator at the Browns. I hated them before he was the HC at Michigan St. I hated them when he was our coach and I hate them now that he's their coach.

I hate them because when I was in grade school a family at our church, who were big Bama fans, used to make fun of me about being an LSU fan and used to tell me how terrible Tommy Hodson was. I was too young to be able to convincingly argue back so I just bowed up inside and hated Bama with as much passion as I could.
Through 6 seasons I suffered as LSU lost home game after home game against Bama while their cheating coach rode Jay Barker and the best team money could buy to a NC....and all the while I hated them. The early 2000's brought a slight reprieve as LSU had an unprecedented run of success against them but deep down inside, while others were hating Tubbs and Auburn, I still hated Bama as much as ever.

I chopped down the tree, planed the wood and built the Bama hating bandwagon that every LSU fan is riding on today....and when Saban retires and leaves and LSU fans are on to hating other teams that familiar weather beaten old wagon will still be my everyday driver.

Now that I post on TD and the arrogance of Bama fans spills forth on every page of the SEC Rant I realize that I will forever hate them and their team on a molecular level for as long as I live.

My dad's girlfriend is a huge bandwagon Bama fan and she is a miserable human being. Anything that she likes is a cancer to me.

Spurrier said it best.

“In 12 years at Florida, I don’t think we ever signed a kid from the state of Alabama…Of course, we found out later that the scholarships they were giving out at Alabama were worth a whole lot more than ours.”

1) Saban, Saban, Saban. 2) That long standing Tiger Stadium jinx vs. the Tide, including a 0-14-1 record from 1971-1998.

A good way of answering is actually by asking a question. What fan base in CFB (heck in all sports for that matter) do you feel is least deserving of enjoying success from their team? Do you actually think the great state of Alabama and all wonderful things it has given to the world really deserves to enjoy such success out of their flagship school's football team? Think on it. And, yes, that sentence above was dripping in sarcasm:).

It's gotten to the point where I can't just casually watch a Bama game because I hate to see them win. And they always fricking win.

Sometimes I'll tune in because I see they're losing. And then Tennessee will gift them the game just to spite me.

I don't watch their games because it is too much "WWE" for me. Their games are literally like watching a wresting match to me.

You know at some point, if the other team is winning, someone is going to come in with a steel chair or another member of the audience will jump in the ring, knock out the ref, put an illegal move on, then the ref wakes up when the guy is "out" and counts them out.

After this, the "winner" then jumps for joy and brags about the great accomplishment, as if they didn't have every advantage in place to begin with. LOL

Or, you can get what LSU got in 2011: Beat them, only to "earn the right" to beat them again.

It is hard to get excited about CFB when this is the case. I still watch LSU and other teams, but my interest in the sport is decreases every year, and it is primarily due to the treatment of teams like Bama. When they fade away, it will be Michigan, OSU, USC, Florida, Texas or Oklahoma....

But reality is, you can't blame Bama or their fans for the way they act, thus the reason I don't "hate" them.

Probably because they have always been better than us. They have won twice as many games as we have against them. Simply put they are the benchmark for excellence in college football - especially in the SEC.
