Horrah! I too love LSU sports, but I don't go into full meltdown mode because our Tigahs lost A game. By the way yesterday afternoon I took my granddaughter to her tumbling classes (she's making amazing progress) then took my wife to get her haircut (she looks great). I hugged my grandson and my puppy as well. It was a full and immensely enjoyable day. I was with the people I love. Hey life is great. I woke up on the green side of the grass.
I suggest we all take a deep breath. It's the fall, with mild days and cool nights.

LSU fans always have something to complain about. However, with Coach I it is pretty warranted.

I mean if you wanna talk lsu football, which people who have accounts on tigerdroppings generally do, there's not much else to talk about right now.
Mysterious suspensions, injuries, poor recruiting so far, penalties, extremely poor play, that's all directly on O. So you might as well just lump it in with general griping about O.
Could also talk about lack of line depth/talent, and how shitty Matt Canada's offense looks. But again Canada is an O hire and O had the ability to get juco olinemen and dlinemen. And not suspend/run off several experienced linemen. So again really everything relevant about lsu football right now can fall under the general umbrella of griping about coach O

You are dealing with a bunch of emotional kids that haven't fully matured yet....for the most part. They think they have all the answers. They will eventually grow up and find that it isn't worth the agony...at least most will.

The decision about O was made by a guy who sold out his Lacrosse team, costing Duke over 100 million dollars. The board consists of men who work regular jobs, and need education on the error of this decision. Thats what they are getting.

We can control this.
Up until last season, when tamu expanded, LSU led the sec in ticket sales for several years in a row. Even when portions of the fanbase wanted Les out. They weren't going to do shite. LSU was making money.
If people stop buying tickets, something will be done. Don't forget the Athletic program gives a nice chunk to the academic side as well.

I'm not defending anyone nor am I trying to change it. As I stated above, I enjoy watching the melt. It's like a Jerry Springer show to me. It's entertainment. I'm not angry nor emotional over it.

With that philosophy, we would have to hire a new coach every year til infinity. If you are already ready to fire O, then we will never have another championship at LSU. If O isn't successful then all of you geniuses will claim you knew it all along when only a few 3-4 seasons have passed. Your impatience and bitching will not change the Tigers into a championship team.
