You can't control who lsu hires or fires. Why worry, get angry, and emotional over something you can't control? Isn't it useless energy you could be using for something more productive in your life? Just asking

Actually the fan base can control who gets fired especially if people stop showing up to the games.

Take what? Perspective in not allowing something you can't control effect you would probably be a better choice

Why worry about life? Why worry about government? Why worry about sports? Why worry about anything?

You're a butthurt nihilist if this is actually your thought process

That may be true. However, bitching on a message board doesn't. Don't you think not showing would be more productive use of your time than bitching on a message board?

Do you not understand being a fan of a sports team? Fans invest their emotions in their favorite team. Without fans caring, LSU football is ULM football. LSU fans emotions is why LSU football is so big.

Any time spent on a message board whether it be bitching, pumping sunshine or blowing faux kisses to adoring fellow posters is not a very productive way to spend your time. And why are you wasting time starting a thread about people's opinion of Coach O? You can't control what people think or post. It's useless energy you could be using for something more productive in your life. Just saying.

Why watch the game at all for that matter since we have no impact on the outcome?

Well, I enjoy sports. It's entertainment to me. I can control a lot in my life. Therefore I devote my attention to it, my children, and family. To me, that's much more important.

Government I don't enjoy nor do I concern myself with it. Like sports, I have no control over it. Therefore, I don't let it affect my everyday behavior.

I enjoy watching you guys melt. It's entertainment to me. I've done my responsibilities within my life. Now I'm enjoying interacting with you guys. I can't change y'all from bitching nor do I try. I know you can't have a rational discussion with irrational people.

Jerry springer, Paul finebaum and chicken have made a huge living providing a forum for masses to watch, hear, and read the fanatics melt in front of them.

You do realize this is a forum specifically for talking about LSU sports right? I highly doubt anyone here complaining about Orgeron woke up this morning and said "I just can't face the day because LSU football sucks".

When you dish out thousands and thousands of dollars every year on a product, you want that product to be successful. That goes for any product in any market.

Eta: When that product isn't successful, people get pissed and vent their frustrations.

They live vicariously? To the gripers I say, hey it's only a game young men play in the fall. Get a life.
