no but I think its reasonable to expect our team to beat a depleted, inferior Ole Miss team. Look the loss to UGA was acceptable. Last week's loss and that dog shite of a performance lastnight are not.

Beating Bama would be meaningful because then all that needs to happen is have them lose a road game to a top 10 team and we win the west

College football was more fun when it wasn't such big business.

We still have a chance to win the freaking SEC last I checked.

How? We would need to win out and we would also need Alabama to lose another game.
That's how. I know,I know, it's a remote possibility.

All these arguments about Miles and our fans and LSU and frick you can be summed up with one word...Saban.

Saban was ours, now he isn't. And they are kicking arse on an historically epic level over there and it should be us.

Until that is no longer happening, our fans, our program our etc etc, will remain as they are.

auburn wins the west in that scenario homey.

We also still have a date with the Johnny Football going up against a defense that can't stop anyone

Then Auburn would win the West unless they also lose another game.

They should beat Georgia. Georgia has too many injuries, just bad luck.

. How many years do we have to say this?? It never our year, and won't be again as long as miles is at the helm.

Because it's been soooo long since LSU has won an SEC Champonsip or played for a national title. It's been FOREVER

The last time we won the SEC Championship, we received an epic beatdown from our current biggest rival, so that SEC Championship is sort of spoiled.

The point is there's still a lot to look forward to. Probably won't happen but it'd be a hell of a season to remember if it did. We'd win the SEC all the while keeping Bama out of the NC.

Man, college football couldn't survive if all fans looked forward to was the national championship.

Yeah, it would be incredible and it would be one of the most exciting finishes to a college football season in a long time other than 2007. But I think most people would prefer if we could make it on our own merit rather than hoping for everyone else to choke.

If you can't see that that SEC Championship was spoiled by losing 21-0 in our own backyard to our former head coach to the team who is currently dominating our division, then I don't know what else to tell you.

ETA: We had one of the greatest college football seasons of all time that year, but now it's pretty hard to look back on it without also remembering 1/9.

So what you're saying is that nothing will ever be enough. Ever. You have an agenda.
