The fans demand perfection out of Miles and the team, but don't demand perfection out of themselves. Why is this?

Talking about and analyzing football doesn't equal being unhappy. If you like sports, you probably like to analyze sports. It's impossible to analyze sports when talking to people who refuse to ever see anything objectively.

I agree and am not happy with it. But I still a fan and, unlike those who are quitting on the team because of it, I am still pulling for the TIGERS and will not have to sneak back in when they get back on track.

I get the feeling that because Miles eats grass, says goofy shite, calls out reporters when asked a tough question, wears a small hat and had a couple of successful 4th down trick plays that he has endeared himself to a big portion of our fan base. He could go 6-6 and these people are going to support him. Ya know its just ole Les.

Honestly, all that stuff is great and it's hilarious. The Columbus Day thing was funny, but none of that stuff is as cool when you aren't coaching well.

Seriously?
LSU fans are typical of any other fan base. In other words, they bitch about problems, concerns or disappointment.
People have concerns. Have you seen that defense? Imagine that defense without Mett, Hill, OBJ/JL to produce points. That's next year. Why have so few of the touted freshman DL been able to earn playing time. Obviously, we aren't strong up front. Those are just some of the concerns.
Disappointed over the Ole Miss loss? You bet. It was an opponent devastated by injuries and we screwed the pooch. While we might not be NC material, it's the only meaningful game prior to a huge showdown with the evil empire. Plus, it's an arch-rival.
If you weren't so pompous and self congratulatory on your "elite" status as a loyal fan, maybe you'd get it.

The Ole Miss loss was us continually shooting ourselves in the foot, but instead of letting myself get frustrated I'll move on to the next game. According to this board I must bitch and complain or else I enjoy losing.
