He's bigger
You think that 1/2 inch and those 2 lbs makes that much a difference?

Sure seems like it does.

Landry = Greg Jennings
OBJ = DeSean Jackson
Two completely different skill sets. Landry has hands, route running, and can win physical battles meaning more redzone TDs. OBJ is a deep threat who can separate and make big plays usually resulting in more long TDs. Tough to compare; it's a personal preference for most.

TBH it depends on what a team is looking for. Landry is a tough loves contact type in the mold of Anquan Boldin he makes the 3rd down catches through physical play. ODB has the quickness and explosiveness to be a dynamic slot like a Victor Cruz maybe more explosive.

The point is that it isn't about the size difference. It is about mentality and what your team needs you to do.

Well I guess the Saints should just draft them both then.

OBJ is no slouch but it seemed like Landry was better after the catch. The first guy rarely tackled him.

ODB has ridiculous hands as well
he does, but he'll lose concentration and drop catchable balls. Landry had that problem early in 2012, then just started snagging everything in his vicinity. dude makes an effort to catch every pass that you just don't see that often.

Landry will have the longer career. He's a better football player and more polished. He has gifts that Beckham will probably never learn like insane hands. Beckham has a higher ceiling and is more athletic but is inconsistent as a WR. I'd rather go with the guy who will likely be more consistent.

Landry will be elite in the nfl. Obj might make wr1 on a team someday.

I'll be happy when idiots like 985boy can at least get our player's initials right.
Wait, are you serious?
That's been his nick name for three years

WTF is ODB? When using initials with players, does any other player have the 2nd letter in their first name as one of their initials? ODB=Ol Dirty Bastard.....OBJ=Odell Beckham Jr. It's not that hard.

Posted on 12/17/13 at 8:44 pm to marcnbc

OMG this argument of ODB v OBJ is OOC.

Yeah I'm biased, but Jarvis has some of the best hands for a wide receiver I've ever seen.
