Heard. Colin Cowherd say this a couple of days ago, and. Then heard somebody repeat that sentiment last night.

I haven't watched Bama much yet, but LSU seems to do a good. Job of carrying out their schemes on both. Sides of the ball. They seem to be playing smart football as far. As I can tell, although the defense was a little off aagainst. WVU in the 2nd half.

Fwiw, Cowherd also mentioned that, in his opinion, Bama also had the better coach, so I don't think he was necessarily referring to Saban when he said that Bama plays smarter.

I don't buy it, but I haven't seen that much of. Bama.

Have you missed the Les Miles' tenure? It's not that crazy of a statement.

Your sentence structure. Makes me. Shake my head.

On Around the Horn the other day, they were talking about Miles to the NFL. They said he'd be fine as long as someone could manage the clock for him.

However, last minute wins at TN and Florida have yet to dispel this notion. It's real hard to get rid of impressions.

I have not ever found anything approaching intelligence in Alabama. Football is about brute strength and reaction, nothing more.

Media respects Saban more than Miles.

Because everybody has seen us play this year and they can't say Bama has better players than we do. "As good" on defense, sure. They have nobody like Mathieu, though. Their LBers are better and Trent Richardson is better (but not so much better than our 2-headed monster of Ware/Ford).

So they have to say Bama "plays smarter" or is "better coached", both of which are purely speculative and/or subjective opinions at this point.

Do you always put periods in the middle of your sentences? I'm not a grammar police, but that's hard to read.

Fewer penalties, fewer missed asignments, fewer quizzical play calls, less dubious clock management, generally more discipline and focus.

preconceived notions about miles.

total amnesia towards the iron bowl last yr.

i actually don't mind it when other people underestimate Les because it works to his favor. i just hate it when our own fans do.

I think it was about defense and gap responsibility. LSU plays faster but over runs some plays.

Less penalties mostly.

alabama has a very smart team...fewer penalties is the main reason I'd say. Not to mention Les having history with clock management. Granted we've probably had a tougher schedule, we've had some coverages blown. People do need to realize this is against two of the best offenses in the country so it's not as bad as it seems. Even with these assignments blown, LSU is turning the ball over as much as anyone in the entire country.

Because they don't watch the games and it's an easy and subjective statement to make on a random Thursday show.

FWIW this is the reason for over 90% of what talking heads say. That's a lot of air time to fill and at some point you just start saying shite.

And right now they have the #2 Def and the # 3 or 2 Off in all the SEC...

We are at #7 Off, and #1 Def.

We got our work ahead of us, but we will kick that BAMA in the BUTT...
