I'm going to say what appears quite obvious. Miles has a preference to play a black QB is he can. In the times that we live in, it makes a lot of sense. Coaches are mostly old white men who make millions of dollars. Most players are African American. They are making the coaches very rich. I could easily see racial division happening on a football team. By trying to be loyal to his AA players, especially in key positions is the smart play.

Obviously Harris practices better than he plays. So if Harris practices better than Etling how would the coaches know Etling is better?

This may be the dumbest fricking thing I have read in my ten years here.

Miles has to be in complete hot seat mode before implementing change. Its all he knows.

Another idiotic assertion flying in the face of mountains of evidence to the contrary.
Miles changed out JL to JJ while undefeated and ranked #1. At the same time he changed his starting middle linebacker. You can disagree with the moves, but they completely disprove your previous assertion.

Then why didn't he change them back or throw in Mett or try anything different on 1/9? Why didn't he change up playcalling last Nov when LF was getting stuffed at the line all last Nov? I think you are ignorant if you don't see that Miles doesn't like change like everybody else sees.

I know this will come as a shock to you...there is a good likelihood that you have never played ball or certainly not at a high level. But sometimes players look much better in practices than others, and others excell in game situations. It is a very common phenomenon. I saw it years back with Jamie Howard and Chad Loup. Jamie would kick his arse every practice, but had an almost 10% lower completion percentage in games. Hallman never would acknowledge this, and he got ran out on a rail due in part to it. It took an entire 5 quarters for Les to realize that Brandon wasn't performing in game situations like he does in practice. 5 quarters. You guys are acting like it was years that he had Etling behind Brandon before giving him a chance.

He makes moves AFTER the damage is done....ie the Wisky game.
What? The coaches couldnt see that DE had some skills and might deserve a look prior to Wisky?

He should have started. I have seen enough that would have warranted the start. This kills me about miles

Because it would've been his first start in two years on the road in hostile territory?
