I think we all know that he was never going to be some NFL star

he was hurt last year. but we brought him in for depth. he prob just wanted to get away from penn and we just played for a bcs title.

I always wondered if he had some connection to Kragthorpe, as Louisville was listed amongst his offers on the recruiting sites.
at any rate, he can still learn from some good QB coaches in Kragz (last yr) and now Cam, and (if it doesn't look like he'll play next yr - which at the moment it doesn't) xfer to try to get on the field his last yr in 2014.

Severely doubt it

Because he will compete for the starting job in his senior year with a 3* junior and a 4* rs fr.

I could have sworn I read somewhere that they were going to try him at WR. Probably BS.

Also he knows we're going to win a championship before he leaves.
Think about it, Bama and LSU are the only true roads to the BCSNCG depending on who wins the head to head. Guessing he knew Bama wouldn't admit him(on scholarship) and we had just came from almost winning it all.
He gets to stay in a culture filled area, get his degree on a full ride and have a chance to win the National Championship.

He came because he likes the coaches. I talked to him one day and he's a really nice kid. He seemed to be enjoying his time at LSU

I don't feel bad for him. He could have transferred to a number of smaller schools and played right away. He chose to come to LSU, nobody forced him into it.

I really just think it was a comfortable environment. He took a lot of heat at Penn. I think he just wants to be a kid and get an education.

Lets see....
Go start and play immediately at take your pick Southern, Jackson St., William and Mary, Appalacian State, etc.
Go compete for a job at a school like Tulane, Memphis, or East Michigan....
Go be a backup and play in Tiger Stadium at LSU and have a shot at a national title/SEC title, and a good solid education.
Love how bunch of people say LSU for life, then question a guy who may love the school so much he doesn't regret his decision, and would rather be a valuable help to the team as a practice player.
I for one commend Rob Bolden for sticking it through, earning his degree, and not doing what so many players do today, which is when they don't get to play, transfer out because they can't compete.
