Let's just see what the "Heavy Miles supporters" think about all of this next year when we head to Saban land with 2 very realistic losses (Ga & Fla) and that's if we beat TCU opening night....we shall see

No. I'm saying the program as a whole has never been better.
The key in these types of issues is trying to have foresight. Dumping our head coach who has sustained a perennial top-10 team simply because our offense has been lackluster is VERY foolish and near-sighted. You (and I, for that matter) have no idea what it takes and what Miles has put keeping LSU as a top-flight program.
But by all means, let's bring back Curly and pray for 5 wins. You failed to mention that maybe the fact that we had shitty talent in those days MIGHT have been his fault.

Just for kicks, anyone know Les's record v top 10 teams? And then compare that to other top coaches- Saban, Meyer, Stoops, etc

If/when Les starts losing, I'll be the first in line to run him out of Red Stick. But as of right now, Les wins. Lots. And I think many here take it for granted. If programs like ND, OU, Texas are all one bad hire away from 10 years of mediocrity, so is LSU.

I think most people are generally happy with Les but just wish he would stop making himself so involved with Offensive play calling.
