Why are we offering another QB and upsetting the elite QB that's already

committed, when we have ABSOLUTELY no shot at getting him??? Is this the great recruiting moves we can expect from an Orgeron coaching staff? To quote Yogi Berra, "It's deja vu all over again." Seems like we whiffed on Franks last year about this time, and we're headed in the same direction this year with Brennan. I want a mobile QB who can sling the ball, not a "dual threat". Sure wish Orgeron would have kept his mouth shut about offensive specifics until we got the "best OC in the country" and then let him decide what offense to run and which QBs to offer.

Well, I am also disappointed about Narcisse reportedly visiting Auburn, but I think we keep him in the end. Don't despair just yet!!!

That was a bad recruiting strategy. But you win some you lose some.

Because the best want to compete. You think that's how it works at Alabama?

Bama can get any recruit they want. Even right in our back yard. I hate that with a passion

Because we have a HC now who thought it'd be better to give some shot across the bow at Bama on the recruiting front than actually think anything through and consider the odds. Bama laughed at that ploy. Hopefully, it won't cost us.

You know what Pianoman, you're right! Somebody should teach Ed Orgeron a thing or two about recruiting because he clearly just doesn't get how to do it!

Because our athletic department is a bunch of clowns. Fire Les end of last year, Hire him back...Lose 2 games this year, fire him again. Spend 3 months getting pimp slapped by Sexton, and then hiring Ed O.

It's quite pathetic actually. Run off recruits in less than 2 weeks.

Nobody whiffed on Franks. Franks backed out for multiple reasons.

1. Finding out about Cam Cameron's prostate cancer treatments.

2. The uncertainty of Cam's future because of that prostate cancer as well as the uncertainty of Cam's contract which was set to expire after last season.

3. The speculation of Les Miles being fired at the end of last season.

What if these QBs don't work out at LSU? What if the one going to Bama doesn't like it there and transfers? Recruit the best, you never know how things will turn out.

Because we have become a mess with no vision or direction. I love coach O but you can't serve all these masters and overachieve which is what he'll have to do. If we lose Brennan it's going to hurt us big time.

After having struck out on QB recruiting for a decade, we find ourselves with the #1 QB class in the nation. One of those quarterbacks is all about LSU and is vocal about it and actively recruits for us. He has been extremely loyal throughout. His name is Myles Brennan and he is one of the top Pro Style QBs in the country.

How do you celebrate your incoming QB and reward his loyalty? You offer a dual threat from Hawaii because the OC at Alabama told you to.

Moving forward, Brennan reopens recruitment, Tua states he is not coming here, Narcisse visits Auburn, and Kiffin interviews at Houston....

LSU = Clowns.

I can't find the angle on this "offer" either. I have really tried to figure out one good reason to do this but couldn't.
The only thing I can come up with is coach O wanted to send an message to BAMA and instead of thinking on it, acted, and came out looking like a fool.. I sure hope this is not a start of things to come...
