Just curious, but where would you put the Auburn game? I expected that game to be much closer than it was.

Because most of the Nega-tigers are too young to remember the many years of bad to mediocre teams/coaching we sat thru just wishing every year LSU could be regarded as a top tier program.

LSU fans (on this site) have become a bunch of spoiled snotty kids.........

The 2008 season miles had to kick off R. Perrilloux, who was slated to take over as the starting QB, and had to roll with a walk-on Harvard transfer and a RS freshman who wasn't ready to play. That season ended 7-5 regular season and 8-5 with a bowl win and what was expected given the production out of the QB position. The shouldn't have been a sole tiger fan out there who thought we could've won more than 9 games max that year.

Your are crazy! There are FRESHMAN QB's that did MUCH better!! Hell, Mcelroy played his 1st college game this year and Bama won the NC!!

quote:

The 2009 season went exactly how most of us thought it would go 9-3 during the regular season. The team again had to break in a new QB this season and the production of the offense suffered b/c of it. Yeah, there was trouble with the play calling, the offensive line, lack of use of RS and such, but the point of the matter is they were still breaking in JJ. Even with all the problems we encountered this season we still was close to winning 10 or more games this season.

The way they played even in wins, was HORRIBLE!!
I have seen little league teams that are coached MUCH better than LSU's team in 2009!! No excuses!

quote:

Given all that Miles has accomplished thus far in his tenure and the dilemmas he's had to overcome, he deserves credit and backing of the LSU faithful at a minimum of two more years to right the ship. I believe he can get the job done.

He has ONE MORE YEAR!! 10 wins are GTFO!!!

B/c Saban is at Bama and is doing extremely well. This IS the reason. Anyone that thinks otherwise is kidding themselves. If Bama had some random guy like Shula coaching them right now, people would be okay with Miles.

Eliminate Peterson's cramps due to illness and Wholio does not score a long TD. Get the correct call on PP's int and we could have won the game. I call that competitive.

Sometimes I think this board is like a home for assholes.

We have a great coach and a great program! Thinking we will win BCS every year is ignorant, and unrealistic. I will be happy to compete with the Alabama's and Florida's, as we have been doing. I wish that somehow the administrator could post the ages of people who are posting so we can tell how old these people are who are constantly bitching about everything.

Against any decent compeition - including crap teams likes MSU and Vanderbilt - Miles is 9 wins, 9 losses. Why be upset? Let's hold hands and sing Kumbaya.

..do we need an easier schedule for Les to keep his job ?

could not be further from the truth. you are out of touch if you really believe that everyone would be OK with Miles if Bama still sucked.
That's just ignorant.

born in 1974; been attending games since mid 80s (when my brothers were students); attended LSU in mid 90s (during the true suck years); think Miles is completely in over his head & the program will continue to decline as long as he's in charge

there, old enough for you

Cramps are a part of the game. That shite happens.

Really?

Even w/ no running game after Scott went down? And despite the fact that Jarret Lee came in and was extremely ineffective? Your crystal ball told you this for a fact?

We got screwed on that call, no doubt. That is NOT what cost us that game, however.
