The fans or our defense (including D coaching staff)

This years defense would go down as the best or 2nd best, if we'd had an offense that could rank in the top 50. I really hope that our defense will continue to bust it's butt in the off season to be as good as we are this season. Next year can really be special with Mattenberger, a good OC and a defense that performs to the level of this years!

Its scary how young our defense is also...i remember seeing 6 freshman on the field a few times against Bama...Reid, Loston, Mathieu, Simon, Mingo and Brockers. Defense will be even nastier in a few years.

Worried about losing Drake, Kelvin, and PP7...we need big time contributions to fill the void.

My theory is that if we get Mett, Crowton stays

I'll be glad to see Crowton gone, get a real QB coach, a new OC and a WR coach who can get our guys to catch the damn ball.

Sorry but I'm not ready to consider an incoming QB to be our savior.

You've also been putting off that visit to the optometrist, too, right?

No. I see that Les Miles will start the senior before the freshman because he's the senior.

Absolutely NO WAY Miles starts a first year QB over 2 returning Senior starting QBs. Mett will redshirt.

Jai - do you play QB? Jai - are u playing on offense? Miles doesn't like 1st year offensive players. Chavis doesn't have this hang up.

JJ/JL will be the QB's next year and no matter who the OC is!!! Just think at this time next year with a better Offense we could be 9-1!!!!!!

Cornerback =/= Quarterback

I can just picture Les Miles 8 months from now lecturing us on how you need senior leadership at the quarterback position, using Jarrett Lee's freshman year as an example.

While Les seems to have figured out freshman can play at this level it is inconceivable that any incoming freshman QB could unseat JJ and Jl as QB1 and QB2 next season. At least initially.

this used to be a joke that could be proven wrong....now, with all the freshmen that have played this year....a statement like this just makes you look like a complete idiot.

Thanks. I don't follow recruiting so I appreciate the information.
