Who's going to play without their helmet this week?

Out of all the dumbass penalties Saturday, that one had me just shaking my head.

I just wonder why hands to the face isn't being called when these helmets are flying 25 feet across the field.

what happens if the running back loses his helmet while running? does he have to immediately fall down so as not to participate anymore?

Very true. That was my only outburst at the stadium. All players should have known the rule before Syracuse. But then after we got called for it one week ago, there is absolutely no sense to have it happen again. That's just zero attention to detail.

The refs will blow the play dead as soon as the helmet comes off, and the ball is spotted at the point where the helmet came off.

that was some of the dumbess shite I have seen in my life. I can give Neal a pass because he did it first, but to not know better one week later is just flat out stupid. Hawkins(? not sure who it was) must be one dumb mofo.

just think if you are playing the nc game and your running back gets ear-hole'd on the one yard line with no time remaining. his helmet flies off but he still scores. holy shite......that would suck.

Big boy had no quit in him Saturday. Helmet or not he was getting after it.

We've only had two penalties for it, but I've seen so many helmets rolling around this year during a play. Maybe it's an equipment or chinstrap issue

The rule is insanely stupid. Are we to just expect the LT to stop blocking and let his QB get destroyed?
Not to mention helmets just don't fly off on their own. The hands to the face is the penalty that should be called

Again, give me a LT that will keep protecting his QB without a helmet than one that will lie down and let him get killed any day of the week.
