We need leadership like that again....not the kangaroo court we've had since. Unfortunately I don't think the new governor is so deft to bring in someone like that.

I was thinking how Emmert was great for LSU just this week.

Your new governor is a democrat and he eventually will have a lot to say regarding LSU and the Baton Rouge campus. Regardless of what anyone thinks and warranted or not - Joe Alleva has made a lot of people mad. That will not go unnoticed even if he is able to get Jimbo or someone else in that wins. Many will love it many will not and Baton Rouge can be a vindictive place.

The next AD at LSU will be Scott Woodward who is AD at University of Washington. He followed Emmerett there, is an LSU and Baton Rouge boy, has been AD since 2008 so he is experienced and he has deep political connections in this city and state - predominately democratic.

It is now my mission in life to get Alleva shite canned. Whatever I can do to help make that happen, I will do.

As I said he has made a lot of people mad and whether that is right or not he will be a target. And he is not a good old boy which is a strike against him. And the surprise win of Edwards may have some dynamics.

Foster was the best Louisiana governor in my lifetime, and Emmert was the best LSU chancellor. We could surely use the kind of leadership that both Foster and Emmert gave us.

Emmert is a piece of shite and turned the NCAA into a bigger circle jerk than it already was.

Was talking to a guy the other day who told me that alleva is already a pariah
amongst the big money folks. Lot of shite over time, and a lot of folks feel lsu having an "official" slip and fall lawyer is off putting.

I for one was shocked as well, I mean do we really need a few extra thousand dollars that bad? Next thing you know we'll be sponsored by the gold club. No offense to those businesses, but it makes your program trashy to be sponsored by them.
What's really shocking is that lsu won't allow an official beer, or it be sponsored that way anyway.

I had a few Texas guys watching the game with me last week and they got a good chuckle about that. It was actually embarrassing.
