Saban was allowed to coach the Capital One Bowl after announcing his deal with the Dolphins (from Orlando).

Cholly Mac coached his whole last year knowing he would not be back. For me that's the more classic definition of a lame duck coach but now it's used for a coach playing out the string the last couple of games knowing he's gone at year's end, Like Curley.

We were all disappointed because we had much higher expectations than that. But that finish does not make JJ a lame duck HC, not at LSU. Unlike the three former LSU HC's that preceded JJ, JJ's teams have not had a losing record in the SEC. Now, if LSU goes 6-12 in the SEC next year...

After what you saw this year with the lack of offensive flow, idiocy in his rigid 2 PF rule, inability to read a game and call a TO, defensive laziness, lack of discipline in teaching how to stay out of foul trouble, lack of accountability, and general cluelessness on the sidelines, do you feel a team with Antonio Blakeney (maybe?) and Craig Victor (who I'm guessing will continue to be foul prone) can make the tourney?

No, I dont agree with that. I love how our fans are trying to destroy future recruiting classes though.

You've had a run of truly terrible posts regarding the basketball team recently. Have you considered changing your password with your eyes closed to avoid logging into your account ever again?

Charlie Mac was a lame duck from 1976, when his contract was scaled back from 3 to 2 years, until he departed after the Tangerine Bowl win in 1979.

LSUMBB in 15-16 was picked to finish in 4th place in the SEC. At 11-7, LSU finished in

The SEC sucked this season. 2 tourney teams. You can throw all these stats around but if you watched this team, it was easy to see they were poorly coached as most objective fans and nearly every game announcer this season did. Many proclaimed sweet 16 or bust for JJ this year. Next year it's tourney bid or go. At least IMO.

Charley Mac for sure
But while it wasn't officially announced, after he went for a job interview for the Florida AD job during fall practice, everyone knew Bill Arnsbarger was gone before his last season.
