Heard on radio that PM said Nola could possibly go Fri since we may not be seeing their ace who threw 229 pitches at Coral Gables

I think it'd be fitting for Gaus to send us to Omaha, and I have every confidence in Nola getting the job done

Sounds reasonable.

But I expect Stony to throw him again on FRI just cuz 229 pitches in 3 days.

A buddy just told me that KG can't pitch because he was drafted.

I then reminded the football fan that you can still play after being drafted in college baseball.

That being said, KG should be starting Friday

Gausman said he wants to pitch on Saturday to send us to Omaha. We'll see what Mainieri does.

Gausman should pitch Friday.

I don't think its a clear cut decision either way, I could see positives and negatives of both. Gut feeling, Mainieri throws Nola friday

I think it depends on who they throw.

I'd throw the freshmen Friday, much less pressure there for him.
