Now that we know who the opponent is for the last game, what's the consensus on the best LSU opponent this season?

Damn sure wasn’t OU, despite the #4 ranking.

Alabama
Georgia
Florida
Auburn

And you could flip 3 and 4.

Definitely Bama. The dropped balls by Tua and the punter got us started then the pick by Queen. If Clyde doesn’t convert the 3rd and 10 when they closed to 33-27 it may have been a different ballgame.

I've heard plenty of people say that the Bama game was the real SEC championship. I can't argue with that. It also broke the mental block we had against the Gumps.

Up until today, the answer is alabama. Ask again on Jan 14.

Tossup between Clemson and Florida ...

Likely Florida the winner

Not Auburn or Alabama because those games were games with a lot of trash points or where LSU should have scored much more (Auburn) ... LSU trucks AU by 20+ in a dry Dome track meet environment ...

Clemson. Reigning National Champions. Haven't lost a game in 2 years.

Sophomore QB that destroyed Bama in last year's NCG as a Freshman.

It will be our toughest test all season on way to 15-0.

I'm surprised that your view is in the minority. I tend to agree with you.

Alabama with Tua was a very impressive win. On the road no less.
