For over 50 years , I’ve always preferred college sports over the NFL. Most of what shaped that perspective is being removed from the sport one block at a time.

Entirely possible that we are waiting for championship games to play out. Not saying the conversations didn’t happen with Lincoln , but a strategy could be to have more than one “big whale” . Lincoln was not the only whale and we did not fail (yet)...
