If Yall want answers, go to the coaches show and ask the hard questions

at the people in this thread calling the media soft.
They can't fricking call out Les on his turf, you realize that would basically ruin their career?

I think the best thing we can do is just chill. Yeah, it was a disaster, and Miles contributed to it, and so did some players. But it's the kind of thing that just happens sometimes, in football or war. The best we all can do, including us, players and coaches, is to just put it behind us and not dwell on it. Knee jerk reactions are seldom good. We all know that in 10 years he has twice brought us to the national title game. In the two games before Arkansas we beat and tied two teams ranked in the top five with a very young team. How many coaches get that done?

They are all afraid of losing their fricking credentials. You would think Baton Rouge could do like NYC or Los Angeles but they are too afraid of getting kicked out of the Lunch with Les bullshite. Bobby Hebert is the only one who tried and some on here came down on him. I for one wanted answers to that MNC debacle also and he was the only MOFO trying to get answerst. Way to Geaux Bobby. I always apprecitate your trying.

Then you do it. Get yourself a press pass and confront Les. Show us how brave you are. Like that would happen
I wish I could get into the Wednesday night deal....I'd get kicked out, but at least I'd get some words in about how the majority of the fanbase feels about his pathetic offense.

My understanding is that you can't get within shouting range of him in there....unless you are invited.

That's not true at all. If you don't have the balls to say it to his face, you can even call in.

If you can do it with some tact, you can get your questions in. Act like a dumbass and you will be treated like one.

FOr the most part, the media here does this. But this thread is expecting Scott Rabalais to ask Miles at the next press conference: "Les, you suck as a coach. Why do you think you suck as a coach? Also, Anthony Jennings sucks as a quarterback, why does he suck as a quarterback?

Watch the press conference again from after the game last night. They asked these kinds of questions. Asked about Fournette. Asked about Harris. etc.

If these guys wanting the hard questions asked had a sack, they would show up and ask the hard questions. They want to hide behind the guys that have to make a paycheck doing this.

I guarantee I have the balls to say the truth to his face. I've been involved in LSU athletics a hell of a lot longer than he has, and the good lord willing I'll be involved after he is gone as well.
I've heard MANY people say that you can't get close in that room at all.
As to the tact thing.....that's what everyones problem is right now...they are too scared to call it like it is. Honestly, I hope Les can get the message. I am actually one of the ones that like him being a public figure for LSU...but if he can't change that pathetic offense, and play people that MIGHT give us a chance at VICTORY....all due to his own ego of being right...then he can shove off. I'm hoping he can get the message, and change. From what I've heard though, he is acting as if Jennings is not at any fault.

sounds like someone struck a nerve......if it were possible, I'd be willing to bet it would have already happened given the approval level that miles maintains...or lack thereof. It is the same with the call ins....same people every week....very carefully picked.

Then go ask the questions Mr Big Balls in the Athletic Department.

Give me a specific example of this and an example of what they should do differently in your eyes.

Will there be a Lunch w/ Les tomorrow?
Last bye week there was not but that may have been due to his mother passing.

actually something more along these lines:
"Les, anyone and everyone watching the game Saturday night could tell that Anthony Jennings didn't have it that night and wasn't going to lead us back to victory. Les, at the same time, the entire football nation is still trying to figure out why you wouldn't make a change to allow the team a chance at Victory. It's as if you waived the white flag, and didn't want to try and make a go at it. Les, this is particularly concerning, since we saw this very same scenario play out a few short years ago in New Orleans. This is now the second time that you have appeared to quit on the team. Does it concern you that you might be losing the locker room, after you have most de6finitely lost many of your remaining supporters after that fiasco Saturday night. Les, why is it that for the last 6 years, we have only been able to field one good offense? Do you think we are lacking talent? No, then do you think it could perhaps be the scheme? Yes, yes, we know les, we know...the execution is just not there....
