OSU v. FSU.
i don't think auburn or mizzou would beat FSU, so i'd rather SEC just be left out, as the only reason SEC would be left out is due to it's self-immolation.

This, but since we beat Auburn, we'd still have that going if they won the NC. Also doesnt hurt to have Auburn decent so they can balance out the Tide a little in that state for recruiting, etc.

Those dastardly Miles-loving sunshine pumpers will tell you LSU still has a shot!
Im hoping Auburn gets in. I think it will help recruiting better for SEC, but I really don't care...

The two teams who have earned it. The SEC champion and either Florida State, big ten champ or Oklahoma state.

This and I hope its OSU. Let Urban get his wish and get on the grand stage and get dismantled. OSU has not played anyone in his streak. It will be a different story today when they play MSU with their stout D.

FSU vs. OSU. Screw the rest of the SEC.

I dont get why some people think FSU is some invincible team. Is it because they beat one ranked team (#13 Clemson)this year? and beat up on a bunch of nobodies? Its the same thing that used to happen before the BCS- Pollsters would be so impressed by FSU, Nebraska, and Miami beating up on nobodies that they'd get in over the big boys in the SEC who cannibalized each other. Once the BCS started putting the best teams in the championship, everybody saw who the real conference is. And sadly, now that people are tired of the SEC winning every year, they're trying to tweak the system to get back to pollsters being able to put in teams that pass the eye test against bad competition.
/End soap box. Auburn will beat OSU or FSU if allowed to play them.

All good points, but the other unbeaten OSU has squeaked by any resemblence of competition. Where FSU has killed their competition home and away. As far as Auburn beating them, really? We beat Auburn handily and they have had to have two other miracle games to get to where they are at.....

This. I'd also like to see a non-SEC team win.

FSU would not blow out Auburn. Id put them on about the same level. Give Auburn (or LSU, Bama, maybe even Mizzou and SCarolina for that matter) the same schedule as FSU and you'd see similar results.
Im not trying to say FSU isnt worthy of making the game, im just not handing them the trophy yet like some people on here. Id like to see FSU vs Auburn and i think the winner would be a deserving champion. FSU vs OSU means the winner gets to duck the 7 time champion SEC.
I just cant wrap my head around how being unbeaten against very soft schedules somehow makes you the best 2 teams in the country, and yet having 1 loss with the toughest schedule in the country eliminates you from the title game.

Seminoles in a close game. Probably be one of the more entertaining MNC in a while.
