I did like how Brennan handled pressure with quick throws, reads and how the throws were placed. Let them both play. Etling is slinging it when given time and the throws were on time and not in position to be intercepted.
Our problem even with Williams running, like with the passing game, seems to be in the line and backs getting their blocks and holding them without 'holding' them.

Against a trash tier team, in 6 pass attempts, he threw 1 pick and another attempt that should have been a pick 6. If the Syracuse backer didn't have stone hands, Brennan would have lost the game for us.
It's like you remedials didn't even watch the game.

The hate for Etling is an eye opener. Etling has performed better than well, he has performed very well. We have had years here under Miles with basically no QB and we finally get one and Etling gets no love for pulling our QB play out of the dumpster.
Why? I will tell you why. Because the rant annointed him crap when he transferred from Purdue. People talked shite about him when he got her because he couldn't light up the world as a freshman at a team that was total crap.
Now they don't want to change their tune.
This pattern will continue here on the rant with O. Regardless of what happens in the future people will want him fired, even if he improves this team and wins the SEC next year.
People do not look at facts and make up their mind. People make up their mind and then try to argue the fact that support their thinking.

Etling starts, bring in Brennan in certain situations. Kinda like Flynn,Perrilou (sp). With the way the offensive line blocks, Eatling might get rocked, innSEC play. Get more snaps.

I say Brennan just for the fact that I believe that Brennan can do what Etling has done so far, even as a true Freshman.
I would rather take a few lumps and get Brennan some big time experience than coast through the year with the Senior. Nothing against Etling.
I think we lose the same amount of games with either in there.

I hope Brennan really enjoys the spotlight now because he will NEVER be as good as he is right this second (even though he's only thrown 11 passes in his LSU career). He will eventually become the starter (possibly this season). At that point his fall from grace will begin and a new backup savior will be anointed. The only question is will it be Narcisse (the leader in the clubhouse) or a new Freshman recruit?

Etling is currently a better QB and has a better body to take a beating.
If our defense doesn't turn a corner and we need to get into shootouts to win games, give Brennan more reps until he takes it over completely.

The same thing happened with Miles. I was a Miles fan up until the very end so I really didn't get the negativity when he had so much success here until really the last 3+ seasons.
I've been an Anti-O since day 1 and NOW I understand the point of view of the Miles haters. His flaws show you that the day will come when he will fail. Now we just have to wait it out until that day comes.

Flaws.... nobody speaks of O's flaws. 99% of the anti-O talk contain nothing about what he has done. Why? Because he has done a shite ton of things that people have been calling for the last 7 years.
They only thing they speak of is this, "he is not the right man for the job" or "it is clear" or "in over his head" etc.
