it'll be white or robinson with help from a safety every single play

robinson is a little more physical at the line, but White has great speed to keep up...I'm sure both will have the duty throughout the game

They will probably bracket him much of the game. Just don't get beat deep.

Who's been playing nickel for yall? Kiffin puts Cooper in the slot a few times a game.

He may be unstoppable but Sims is not. And Sims is 50% of the equation.

Safeties cover the slot a lot. I'm sure with cooper though they will just bring a corner inside. Mills also lines up on slot guys but really just if he is blitzing. But as someone said it will most likely be Adams in that case if we keep to what we have been doing. I think cooper would have his own gameplan though

Do not forget Howard. He beat us last year badly and has been bama's other big passing threat when it's not Cooper.

Howard is soft. Yea if he catches the ball in the open field he's dangerous, but he's soft. He's not going to go up and win a jump ball, which is a shame for a guy his size. White is the other weapon on the outside. He has the speed to get over the top of the defense. Texas 200m champ in high school. He isn't going to abuse 1-on-1 coverage like Cooper, but he'll win a share of those matchups.

Serious question, does Sims mainly rely on Cooper and his feet or does it just appear that way? The little ive watched Sims reminds me of a guy who's read is Cooper then run. True or false?

It will likely be Mills or Collins covering the slot in 3 and 4 wide situations.

OJ is dangerous but we need to be physical with him across the middle and up the seam.

Biggest thing for LSU will be getting constant pressure on Sims with the DL but also holding contain.

Is Cam out for this weekend?

Cover him the same way we covered Treadwell.

He literally is 75% of their offense

Wonder if we give him the Johnny Football treatment with that contain rush. No real pressure, just force him to stay in the pocket.

This is what needs to happen.

I'm really more concerned about Howard, and who we put on him. All the attention Cooper gets, Howard could a field day underneath.

Can be true at times. We run plays where white and howard are the first read. If Cooper is the first read it's usually going to Cooper, this hasn't been a glaring issue yet though because Cooper usually gets open, Sims does make 1-2 throws a game though where he decides where he's going pre snap and the ball should be picked, but inexplicably it hasn't yet. Another odd thing is that as sure as he makes that boneheaded throw that the defensive back drops, it has settled him down in every game, a pick could have a different effect. We'll motion or split the RB out and throw it to him as well, did this a lot with Drake but saw it with Yeldon in the Texas A&M game. I don't expect a wholesale change in the offense this week but do expect to see a few wrinkles we haven't seen yet, I'm sure we'll take a shot or two deep using Cooper as the decoy.

Saban has been questioned several times by the media about the reliance on Cooper, and he basically said I'm not going to tell Blake to not throw it to 9 if he's open.

I really do not think cooper is that amazing. His stats are incredible, but he is the only guy they throw to. What good defenses have they played.....oh yeah, ole miss, and they lost. The scrambling qb is our biggest threat.
