Our best corner, White? Or a bigger body - Collins or Robinson

I say just put White, Robinson, and Collins on him, since he is basically their whole offense. Let the rest of the defense blitz.

I am sure whoever is covering that they will have a safety or nickel favoring his side

I am not that worried about Cooper. He will make plays. We need to stop the run and get pressure on Sims.

Ultimately, this guy is unstoppable...we just have to control him...he will get his catches...just no bombs or getting ball in space.

I don't think they'll have any one corner following him over the field.

Probably won't be a specific player but I assume they'll play under with the corner with safety help on top..

Yeah, why should we be concerned with one of the leading receivers in the country? It's not like a receiver can single-handedly beat a team like Josh Reed did in 2001 en route to rewriting the SEC record books...

I agree that the game will be decided primarily at the line of scrimmage, but you are kidding yourself if you don't think that this defensive staff will make it a priority to limit the big passing plays.

Welter = shut down

Jamal Adams might play a huge role in limiting Cooper

If Yeldon doesn't play, Cooper will be targeted a lot more than before....

Sorry, did you think that this was Corey Raymond's TD account?

Of course we have to stop Cooper. I said that they will probably be having a DB favoring his side all night. I just said Cooper will make plays, because he is that good. We can still beat them even if Cooper catches 8 for 150

I would like to see Robinson take it upon himself to step up and shut him down like he did Evans last year. But we will likely have safety help to bracket him most of the time.

Doesn't really !matter. All will
cover him but there will always be a safety over the top I bet.

Just commit two to cover his arse since no one else on their team is a real threat. When their QB can't find Cooper he likes to go to RB's out in the flat. LB's or whoever have to be up on that.
