Diarse will start. If Leslie can put some weight on, he should see a lot of time. At this point I'd say Dural and Diarse.

Trey Quinn will be a factor. Great kid, great attitude, very quick, unselfish.... he will work his way in and we will be talking about him before long.

The only one for certain is Travin Dural

eta: I would like to think that Leslie will make an impact. Why would we bring in a JUCO guy to sit the bench?

He was originally in the 2012 recruiting class as Avery Johnson:

Wasn't this his first year?

After he was recruited in the 2012 class, he had to get his academics in shape and he went to Hargrave for a year. So he was switched to the 2013 class.

Looked at the current depth chart and the only ones that seem to be left are Dural and Leslie: everyone else gone (Beckham, Landry, Boone, Wright).

Is there anyone else I am missing or will it be a Freshman-fest for the third spot? Seems like we should have signed a top flight guy last year.

Cam will be installing way more 3-4 WR sets because now he get's to put his full package in place.

Dural and Spears/Peterson in base, Diarse/Quinn slot, Leslie when we go four wide.

Ok and how many of times have you seen LSU line up in a 3 WR set on the first play of the game?

He said 3rd option. Means 3rd on the depth chart. Even Kadron Boone and James Wright played a lot as true freshman. Luckily we now have Cameron and Adam Henry to develop the younger guys.

Yeah.... but that doesnt mean he was ineligible in his 1st year, because he was never here. His 1st year was last year. So he wasnt ineligible. Just had to go to a prep school to qualify to go to college.

Dural is the only 1 that I can confidently say will be starting. Diarse and Spears are most likely the other options, but they havent seen PT so nobody knows who is ahead of who.

I hope Leslie can figure it out and be ready to contribute next year, because we are going to need him.

I dont see Avery Johnson playing that much. A lot of people think that because hes PPs little brother that hes a stud. And its not true. Averys best year was his sophomore year in high school, and never improved. He also was the most disappointing player at the UA AA game when he played, and had questions about how serious he is about football.

I think the freshman will be in the thick of things. Especially Dupre if we can land him. And I think Quinn will earn more PT as the season goes on.

WR is a pretty big question mark IMO. The only WR that has caught a pass on the team is Dural. Everyone else is a mystery.

yea I agree with that Lester... very well could be our best receiver on the team next year. And a TE is a QBs best friend. Should be way more involved next year.

I would love to see A. Williams get some playing time. Loved his story and really wanted to see him shine. He looked good in the spring game once the butterflys got cleared out.
