Henderson should at least get a honorable mention.

Henderson is past his prime, and Landry is totally overrated (especially on this board). Devery has only 300 yards receiving this year. He is still one of my favorite Tigers, but he isn't even in the Top 10 of this list. Lafell is better along with Bowe at WR.

Good luck with that one. There is at least 1 person on this board that legitimately believes Landry never got beat for a touchdown in his 4 years at LSU.

Stats do not mean everything. They do not throw at mo for example. Peterson has been a liability in coverage since tab out game 4. I quit starting him.
Trindon has a good many yards and Danny McCray has a bunch of tackles so why aren't they on your list.

Dorsey doesn't even play much b/c of injuries. If the question is referring to former players and what they're doing in the NFL, then Dorsey doesn't belong IMO.

Ryan Clark is solid and has been for years.

Landry is a beast when healthy, but gets burnt from time to time.

Never liked D-Bowe, but his numbers are among the top

With the exception of this year and maybe 2 years ago, Webster has been really good.

We have a ton of D-line/O-line that are very productive

Honorable Mention

Ridley
Lafell

To put Claiborne ahead of Clark and Webster is laughable.

Here were mine from earlier in the thread. I had Clark at 1. No question in my mind the most valuable to his team.

Mine are as follows: 1 Clark they do not have many wins when he is out Clark > Troy p 2. Whitworth 3. Bowe 4. Ridley 5 Webster 6. Mo Webster and mo could be swapped as could Ridley and bowe. .

With a lookback period of 2-3 years, I would rate them this way:

1. Petersen - seems like he is getting picked on a bit, but he has had great success as a return man and plays a very important position.

2. Whitworth - Mammoth LT playing to near Pro Bowl level according to a commentator I heard. (Bengals fans, is this true?)

3. Williams - This guy was a sabermetrics hero and a real stud until hurt. Still gotta have him up there.

4. Webster - long time CB playing at a high level.

5. Ridley - If I were rating just at this very moment rather than over the last 2-3 years, he might be number 1.

D. Bowe would be next on my list and I probably made a mistake not having him on the list.

I feel confident not having James (past prime, although he certainly would have been on this list before), Dorsey (hurt a bunch and only so productive when healthy), and Trindon (virtually of his success this year and only on ST).

Landrys not on this list. Extremely overrated.

Whitworth- Top 3 LTs in the game
Webster- Lockdown CB for a team that won 2 Superbowls
Ridley- 1,000yard rusher this year
Bradie James- Been 1 of the better MLB in the NFL for a while now
Ryan Clark- 1 of the better FS in the game, and 1 of the smartest defenders in the game.

This guys have been doing it for a while, except Ridley, but he was the feature back for the Patriots and tore it up.

Honorable Mention
PP- Just a stud
Bowe- has had some great seasons, just a shitty situation in KC
Riley and Sheppard- Great looking young LBs

The guys I have on honorable mention are all good, they are just either really young and havent played enough NFL footbal yet, or they are on a crappy team and dont get any credit like PP and Bowe.

I think Tyson Jackson is actually better than Dorsey now.

Dorsey is out of position. He's a 4-3 DT...not a 3-4 DE like the Chiefs are using him. It's sad that most people actually think he is a bust because of this..

Kyle Williams is the only 2 time pro-bowler and only positional all-pro LSU has in the league right now (Peterson's is for special teams) and he has played his whole career in Buffalo which says a lot.

I posted a link that rated him the 37th best player in the NFL but people on this board are ignoring him because he is a DT.
