Beckham gets great separation and has had some pretty disgusting catches since he's been here. He got into a bit of a funk last year at times, but the talent is absolutely there.

Out of all the receivers on the roster, Dural and Kevin Spears seem to have it all. Just need to see how they develop but they are the two out of this group that would seem to have potiential to be in the classic mode of big time NFL recievers. On a different note, I wouldn't sleep on Wright or Boone being difference makers at WR this season either. I just hope Miles isn't just locked into Landry and OBJ as being the primary targets. We've seen what they can do. Both are good but aren't really what you would call elite recievers. Landry gets the maximine from his physical abilities and OBJ brings what OBJ brings.

Why not have to deal with 3 or 4 WR to cover, instead of on main WR. They will have to defend them all. This may allow one WR to stand out.

I usually say this as hyperbole to make a point, but I literally think you should kill yourself.

Pretty sure he's tweaking you guys and you fall for it every time.

I don't think we have any elite recovers and no one is going to really stand out. If we can just get solid production out of a few of them, don't drop the damn ball, we should be good.

Crimminy! If Landry wasn't that guy in the back half of last year then you won't be satisfied with anyone less than Julio Jones. And, no, we don't have that guy on the roster. Landry beat Bama for the go-ahead TD. The only reason he didn't score the game winner is because we didn't go back to him. Then, against Arkansas, he makes the catch of the year for a critical TD! We have two solid, future NFL starters on the outsides. From what I hear, Dural is just as good. If we don't win the BCS it won't be because of our receivers!

I mean difference makers on the field. The kind of receivers defenses have to specifically prepare for.

Hopefully Coach Cam will call for more deep passes to stretch the field. Landry is not a burner. But he makes the catch most of the time. Mett could help by throwing the ball in front of the receivers instead of behind them. Running the same patterns over and over makes it easy for the defenders. Dural is a practice champion who needs to take it to the playing field. Expanding the passing game to include the Tight Ends and Running Backs, should help the outside receivers.

Why can't you guys watch Dural play one quarter of a game[or catch one pass] before you set him up on this mile high pedestal. Someone even mentioned that Dural might beat out Beckham. Never happen. Beckham has earned his spot. You're basing all you facts {or hopes] on hearsay. Did any of you see Boone in the A@M or Bama game? We should give him more respect than we do. Dural may be greatest wr ever, but he will have to earn his way up the ladder just like Landry and the rest. Until I see him play, I just don't know.

I agree with this. I think we'll be pleasantly surprised with Boone this season.
