Agree the west is better but saying ole miss miss st and arky are comparable to tenn under fulmer and Florida under spurrier along with Uga in sabans day is just wrong. Like I said the west top to bottom is better now but the sec as a whole isn't. Those east teams I named are all better than any team in the sec besides bama annually during miles era.

despised him since his first home game in 2005. 2006 was an epic waste of elite talent and a lesson in coaching failure. 2007 he had a juggernaut and literally gave 2 games away to teams he should have crushed.

I won't even go beyond that to the classic failures of the recent past. They are too numerous. The man is a joke of a football coach.

The next coach is going to lose with elite talent, then what? By the standards Miles set, he will have to win the west in his first year or he's a failure.

Unless we beat Bama it makes zero difference. Flashier offense sure. But we've only beaten 3 Mississippi teams, Missouri and Jacksonville St so far

Dead on...

I think it is juvenile for people to brag about how negative and miserable they've been for years with Les like THEY accomplished something now that Les is gone...
The bottom line is it looks like the right decision and I'm happy for a change but we won't know if it is the right move for a couple of years...This bragging will look even sillier if our program falls into a Tenn, Miami, Neb, type abyss.

Look at the way we lost that game and your lame excuse is utterly lame.

Obviously, you worship the ground Miles urinated on.

The sec was shite compared to miles tenure. If you cant admit this you have an agenda. While at lsu saban NEVER FACED a sec team that even played in national title game. Only 1 season were there 2 west teams with 10 wins.

Then you havent been paying attention. I expect that out of you though.

Ive posted dozens of times that the way lsu is playing now is an indictment of miles.

Yal keep bringing up the west when I've said repeatedly I agree the west is better now. What I said was the secs elite teams were much better and they were no agenda but I didn't start watching college football 10 years ago and I know better. The 2 years les won the sec the east champ had was a 4 loss team lol but the sec was shite before he got here? You're the one with an agenda and everyone knows it.

Saban coached against Zook three times, dude.

Miles coached against Meyer.

Both coached against Richt

I guess the only real issue here is UT, and I think you overvalue UT 2000-2004.

No east team ever made the national title game when Saban was at lsu. Miles coached against 3 programs with multiple national title game appearances. Look it was time for miles to go and ive had more fun watching the last 4 games than i have had in a long time but youre setting yourself up to deem the next coach a failure if he doesnt win like Miles did at lsu.

Meyer was at Florida half the time miles was at lsu dude they won 5 games the second time miles won the sec they never won less than 8 wile Saban was here. And Uga won 13 games in 02 did they do that during miles tenure? I'll answer for you NO they didn't! So the issue isn't only tennassee it's the fact that the secs best teams were better in sabans era. Just because bama wins and we have a tv deal doesn't mean the football teams are better.

That's right no teams made the national title when Saban was here because he beat tenn in 01 and he beat Uga in 03. And how many east teams made the national title when miles was here? I'll answer for you NONE!! Nice try dude.

We dont play tenn and uga every year.

The only thing that matters is the programs you play every year and the programs we play every year were shite when Saban was at lsu.

If you can get to the sec championship game every other year like Saban did you do get to play the best east teams. Miles never had to worry about this. Or how about let's compare their records vs top 5 teams since miles won so much against elite talent.
Miles 7-8
Saban 4-2

Lol
